Great gold medal and potentially another in the diving - at least silver.

Our hockey girls 1-0 up in their semi final.

Brazil v Germany in the Men's football final - the hosts will be keen to gain some kind of revenge!

I just wanted to say that I am really impressed about the Great Britain Team. Actually they have won 19 Gold Medals, only the US earned more. Kudos!

Germany currently on #5 position with 12 Gold Medals.
Both German Football Teams (Men/Women) are in the Final. The Women Team is playing against Sweden and the Men against Brazil.
And those Brazilians want "revenge" for the 1-7 loss at the World Cup Semi Final 2014. For me, you can't compare those 2 competitions. A Win in the World Cup Final counts more in Germany than a win in the Olympic Football Final.
btw: For the German Men's Team it's the first time they've reached the Olympic Football Final. Best before was a Bronze Medal in 1988! So with already a Silver Medal (when losing the final) it's the best we've ever reached at the Olympic Football tournament.

The Brownlee brothers 1-2 in the triathlon and another sliver in the Canoe sprint plus bronze in the badminton Men's pairs.

I wonder if any other country has such a wide variety of medals in different sports?

Amazing olympics so far. Already 7 medals more than we targeted for, 8 more than Beijing.
Surely if we finish 2nd in the medals table above China it will be one of the greatest sporting achievements.

Brilliant Olympics for GB.

Not sure what my highlight is, probably have to be the gold for the hockey women's team. Nick Skelton a close 2nd maybe. I don't really like equestrian stuff, but there's something about him which makes it really special every time he gets a medal, was the same in London.
