I think the Mansfield fans have always been humoured by Oxford since they were scared of the wind and were too girly to come out - thanfully we won the replay so it showed cheating doesn't always count.

My take on yesterday was that it was disappointing Oxford resorted to these antics so quickly when they were evidently a half decen side - has they put as much effort into their football they could well have won. The team and their fans aren't half a precious bunch

I could not make the game yesterday but I noticed in Appleton post-match interview he comments on Mansfield 'direct play' I do understand we take advantage of Chapman long throw but overall from the three games I have attended so far we have not been direct.

Anyway, a fair point from 2 sides that will probably be firmly midtable, keeps our semi promising start to the season going.

No one is moaning about it, it's you lot, and your Oxford are a team of divers comments, that has bought out these comments. I watched you at Notts and you were physical there, but I thought to myself that it's a local derby of sorts, so it's to be expected. But clearly it's the way you play, nothing wrong with that, but don't whine if you find you have half your team suspended in a few weeks time.

You're the only side that we've played whose fans have made the comments regarding us diving etc, so I think the problem lies with you.

Oh, and was that last post how you really talk/think? The only thing you missed out was the soft southern shandy drinkers dig! Fuck knows what you'd have been like if you'd lost.
