Well, back on the road for us and after another failure to win yesterday, which takes us to 1 win in 7 and 2 wins in our last 12, we are now getting dangerously close to must win territory. This game isn't a must win, but we could really do with picking up a point.
Some in, some out seems to be the case team wise. Atkinson and Ness both are probably out for this one but Grant comes back in. With the lack of midfield numbers, now is probably the time to either revert to the 5-2-3 and have Tate being able to step out of defence and provide the extra man in midfield, or go to a flat 4-4-2 with Colclough and Inman wide, LDV and Haber upfront. Or start Ajose out wide instead of Inman, don't really care, they are both in terrible form. Regardless, we are playing so poorly at the moment, the selection or formation won't matter, its simply a case of praying we the opposition are somehow worse than us.
Posh on the other hand have really dropped off after a good burst of form since sacking Ferguson. They've now lost 4 of their last 6 and only managed 1 goal in that time, being shut out the other 5 times. They have incredibly only scored 8 more than us and we have been garbage in front of goal all season. Still, you can ignore their poor form given who they are coming up against. Washington, Maddison, James and co will probably fill their boots in this game.
Why? Because not only are we rubbish away from home, but we are rubbish at London Road and rubbish on Tuesday nights down South. Well, Tuesday nights away from home in general. 3-0 Posh win. 100 Crewe fans if we're really lucky.
