Fantastic news, a step in the right direction. Hopefully all goes well and we can get back to normality very soon.

30% capacity is it? Would be happy if thats the benchmark capacity from a PV point of view!

The Club has been chosen to host the two test events, having previously been part of a joint project by the EFL and the Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA) that looked at the safe application of social distancing at football grounds. That work was overseen by crowd dynamics experts Movement Strategies, who will also assess the pilot at the Abbey Stadium on behalf of the SGSA and DCMS.

Yes ourselves and Charlton were the selected clubs to go through this process. Let's all hope it's a success and everyone can get back into stadiums ASAP.

8,100 so at 30% they are going to test this. I also think if cities or towns have a higher R rate, Bolton and Bradford for example that could possibly be reduced.

If we lose then I'm blaming this. Unfair advantage
Perfectly valid point here. Surely if away fans aren't allowed then everyone should have the same amount of matches with/without their supporters?

Racism? What banning the people who have COVID? Clown

Will you be taking your BLM banner to the games?

This country has lost it and its people like you
You must be on a wind up here...

Sadly that is where we find ourselves today, in our somewhat polarised society, we have people who just provoke with $#!+ like that.

I stand with Si Robin calling this out.
Calling WHAT out? Go and eat your greens. It was a fking joke because the virus is predominately in the Asians area. Snowflake

If you think racism is a joke, or something that can be made the subject of a warped attempt at humour...then may I politely suggest that you go and get your head examined!

Racism? what was racist? Its you who are sensitive to anything. The virus is mostly in the Asian areas and I was joking that if we keep them out we can have 100% crowds. Not racist ONE bit; are we going to be living in a society that we cant mention Asian and Black people any more?

What was that for? Completely uncalled for; have you something against Bolton supporters that make you so rude; cant wait going to your place now
What's this country coming to if one football fan can't call another a c*** for being a causal racist as is our great British tradition?

Whilst maybe not the intent to be the way it was worded certainly comes across as pretty racist to be honest.

Whilst some degree of truth in what you've said in terms of the harder hit and larger spread of the virus down to various social reasons (housing types/larger family units etc) it was worded in a way that comes across very poorly and whilst the Asian community have been heavily affected so have care homes and you only need to look at the demographic of teens/twentysomethings bringing it back from Malia and Laganas to see that its spread is affected by everyone and dont think you can blame a single community for football grounds being restricted!

First that Wisbech fan and now this clown.

Then there's that Bolton fan, who while not a racist afaic, comes up with loads of shit and people bite.

All three chaps are new members. Make of that what you will but I think it's only a ploy to drive up traffic on this site. Just like the supposedly forthcoming prediction leagues with prizes for the winners. Yeah right.

Shock they've picked one of the fucking B team games just to get a max crowd in for once

Yep. I'm livid mate. They know we're missing the footy and quite a few will not think twice about the harm this farce of a cup will be causing to all our beloved lower league clubs in the future. Some U's fans on our forum are already justifying going to the Norwich match because 'the club needs money at this time'. FFS.

I believe the person who introduced the virus to the ‘Plymouth 30’ was Asian. Really unfair that the honest and patriotic whites in the group have subsequently been stigmatised for taking part in a cultural tour of Laganas.

As someone said on our forum, think they were going to be throwing it open sooner rather than later anyway so these trials are just a fig-leaf so they can say they've properly risk assessed things. be absolutely astounded if the finding is that it's not safe and we'd best hold off for longer on crowds - mind, an open air even does seem inherently safer than some of the other things allowed now of course.

Reckon League Match Day 3 will be the first games across the board to be allowed.
