26th September. Vale v Harrogate.

Our first game with fans, apparently.

Paid for my season ticket last week and the lady who sorted it out for me said that our club is hoping to admit fans sometime in October...which would be fantastic. I hope the trial at Cambridge is a success.

I thought it would be the home game after against carlise

A mate knows a copper at work who apparently had an email about it stating that game would be the first with fans.

Fingers crossed all goes well at Cambridge. October seems to be the plan for getting fans back but think it also depends on the local coronavirus R rate in the area.

Unfortunately the Wirral’s R rate is increasing fairly quickly which might slow us down for getting fans back in at Prenton Park.

State of this fucking country. Can't even say BAN ALL THE ASIANS without being labelled a racist.

Well tbf the corona is all the Asians fault apparently, I mean why else would it get called 'The Chinese Virus' by respected scientific/medical experts like Dr Donald J Trump and Dr Michael R Pompeo?

We didn't but with all that London lot fleeing the city we now have an influx of pilots, albeit Ryanair ones.

Hastings United play their games at The Pilot Field...perhaps that would have been a more suitable venue!

Yep. I'm livid mate. They know we're missing the footy and quite a few will not think twice about the harm this farce of a cup will be causing to all our beloved lower league clubs in the future. Some U's fans on our forum are already justifying going to the Norwich match because 'the club needs money at this time'. FFS.
Luckily our game against Liverpool under 21s is behind closed doors and prevents thousands of telly clappers getting their once a year chance to see a real game.

Several pubs have been closed this week after staff tested positive and staff in at least two nursing homes as well. Think we might be heading the way of Greater Manchester. Strangely we have quite a small asian population so it must be down to the amount of people who think it doesnt affect them.

Not possible. Only Asian people spread the virus.

Despite my user name I am neither Black nor a Haddock, but actually an Asian Pilot. I should therefore be asked to attend every Pilot game free of charge.

First that Wisbech fan and now this clown.

Then there's that Bolton fan, who while not a racist afaic, comes up with loads of shit and people bite.

All three chaps are new members. Make of that what you will but I think it's only a ploy to drive up traffic on this site. Just like the supposedly forthcoming prediction leagues with prizes for the winners. Yeah right.
at least you never branded me racist....

Btw 2500 seems a lot.

Are there really that many pilots living in Cambridge? Or will some be bussed in?
If you’ve been, you’ll know our ground is pretty close to an airport so 2,500 pilots isn’t totally unfeasible.

Scaremongering shite. Embarrassing how it’s been handled.

All seems a bit pointless. Limiting social gatherings when people weren't at work or school and shops and pubs were closed made sense. Now it just seems like they're desperate to be seen to be doing something.

Only 850 odd for the EFL game last night but overall a great success. Extremely well organised, kept bubbles apart and all had to wear a mask.

It is, you can go pub but can't go football outdoors! They are even on about now an instant covid test which gives you a 24 hour pass to go football or theatre etc! Ask Boris if we can go down the Vale...

Pretty sure I heard/read that they're going to announce more details at 5pm regarding sport, but I'm not sure if they're talking about exercise and playing team sports or if they're talking about attending events.
