Neither of these teams have got any composure on the ball at all. Making it fairly entertaining to watch though.

Agree with that. As soon as a player gets the ball, not looking to take a 2nd touch and just smash it up field.

Can't see Stockport getting back in to this.

The way Stockport are playing is reminiscent of when they had Kevin Francis up there back in the 90’s. Don’t think they’re quite as suited to that any more, need to calm it down.

Have to say, the play off standard looks much lower than last years play offs. Is that just how the games have played out, or has the chasing pack looked weaker this season?

Standard of the league wasn't particularly strong. The Top 3 were a worthy Top 3 though and I'd say they were in the Top 3 best sides I saw us play this season.

Salford were entertaining to watch but they looked so poor at the back in the Friday Night home game we played vs them. Stockport we played like we were pissed at Edgeley Park on Boxing Day and didn't even have a shot but they were dire at Gresty Road. Carlisle were turgid at Brunton Park against us but they were brilliant at Gresty Road and did a job on us. They've gone off the boil mind. Bradford were poor in both games against us, very reliant on Andy Cook this season and I'm sure their fans would agree with that.

That said, outside the Top 7 the quality was non-existent. We were exceedingly poor between September and February and a lot of sides didn't bother turning up on the pitch after Christmas.

It’s a shit league. We’ve barely put in a good performance all season and still took automatic promotion to the last day.

You know what you get with Smith but Salford seem a lot better without him, they were the best team I've seen at ours this season even in a draw where he was on the bench, they and in particular Louie Barry rinsed us going forward.

Salford should be out of sight here really, missed some really good chances.

Salford really should have scored there. Stockport looking like they’ve never worked on defence in training.

Surprised to see so many empty seats at the Railway End - any particular reason?

What a chance that was. I know it's only been a couple of minutes but Stockport already look better for the substitutions.

It’s near enough our best 11 if we hadn’t been decimated by injuries

Stockport much better working it out wide, rather than just hoofing forward. Good header!

Poor standard this season. Orient and Cobblers best teams I've seen for sure.

We did the double on Stevenage, not impressed with them at all.

Salford probably best footballing team I've seen, but again we did the double on them too. The 3-2 victory over them over the Christmas period definitely the most entertaining

Olaofe gone from looking like a competition winner to being a real threat each time he gets on the ball.

Funny how 2 different sets of fans view him.

We see him as a club legend up here, a true leader and a good man.

It was Bradford where the leg break happened when at Huddersfield, ended up a comment of mine aimed at wrong team!

Just that I feel we need someone with passion to rev this side up before game that isn’t a Simpson attribute.

This current match has looked shit probably because it kicked off so early at 12.30pm.
Really play off games should be evening ties.

This game is a reminder why so many 'poor' teams still go up automatically. If you can be defensively organised and effective from set pieces then that alone will allow teams to compete at the top end of L2.

Players on both teams must be knackered on a warm day like this. In all honesty rather than extra time should go straight to a shootout at the end of the 90 I think.
