Well, we're in the final furlong of the season and I thought it would be a good opportunity to share the players who have stood out (nor not!) for your side this season.
For the Imps, it's really difficult to choose as luckily we've had a cracking season.
I'd go for Jorge Grant who I don't think has put in a poor performance all season - been a real integral part of the side be it out wide in the first part of the season to defensive midfield when Bridcutt has been out or in that 'number 10' position where he pulls the strings.
Honorable mentions to Joe Walsh who has been fantastic when fit, a real rolls royce and hasn't put a foot wrong. Lewis Montsma had a storming first half of the season until Covid struck but in recent weeks has been back in the team and back to his best. A fantastic pick up who I think will improve with fans at the Bank added to the fact that this is his first season in English football. Conor McGrandles has been Mr Consistent - full of energy and quality and a great pick up from MK Dons. With most of the other central midfielders out injured he's really shouldered the burden. Brennan Johnson has been great, when at full flight opposition can't handle him - hopefully he makes the step up with Forest next season. Tom Hopper has been a real workhorse, for the majority of the season he's been our only fit striker and performs his role selflessly.
