That mad fucker Cotterill doesn't seem to rate JET. Why not?
Started with Wilbraham and Agard and their partnership had us sitting top of the table with Wilbs as one of the leagues top scorers so no real need to change then.. In comes Matt Smith, Wilbs and Agard get injured and JET comes in does well enough, but Cotts seems to have gone back to the old partnership. Wilbs and JET a no go imo, Agard and JET tried and didn't really work out. Don't get me wrong when he's playing well JET is unstoppable in this league, but doesn't seem totally the right fit for us.

Unless Cotts give him some personal guarantee he will get regular first team football in the championship then I'd imagine so.

It is a shame that Cotteril doesn't rate JET as highly as a lot of us do. But then you can't really moan too much when top by 13 points.

I'd love him in my side. Unfortunately he probably doesn't fit our 'model'.

We splashed some cash on Luongo and if there is anything similar available when he is sold he'd be a dream in our side.

It's not often I wax lyrical about an opposition player, but he's a gem

I've seen Emmanuel-Thomas about 5 or 6 times since he was a youth to now and he's been turd each and every time, a lazy liability who likes too much time on the ball. This hype about him really surprises me.

Obviously the Bristol lads have seen him more than anyone. Last season at ours he was unplayable.

Can only comment on what you've seen. Just looks like he should be at a higher level than L1

His inability to perform consistantly at the level you've seen Indian Dan is the reason he's at this level.

That sounds like Daniel Powell for us. He is a great player on his day but is the most inconsistent player in our team and has been for years, hence his nickname on our forum...marmite.

There are times JET can be, as mentioned, unstoppable and there are times he can be a bit of a passenger. Luckily, for us, when he has been needed and had a run of games this season, he has been superb!
Cotts struggled to find a way to get Luke Freeman and Jay into the same side until it was forced upon him and he now seems to have reverted to his original line up.
Jay deserves better and happens to be OOC this summer (I think) and appears happily settled in the South West so, finances allowing, Swindon could be an option!

Ben Reeves for me, he's got more creativity in his little toe than we have in our whole team...

Edit: Honourable mention to Joe Garner for his world class 'professionalism'.

No player is brilliant every game, but when you have one who can, and does, win games for you is worth his weight in gold.

We've all had the mediocre players - does nothing fantastic but does nothing much wrong either - but I like to be uplifted now and again and bollocks to the games where it doesn't work out

JET can be extremely lazy like SF pointed out, but then he can be unplayable.. Never know what you're going to get from him.. When he makes a couple of mistakes and the crowd get on his back he's fucking terrible!

It's a shame he was dropped when he was, as he did nothing wrong atall, and was single handedly ripping teams apart.. If we don't give him a contract he will have a sbit load of options.

You may aswell marry JET the way you go on about him!
And top of the league by a distance without him, not bad management there I would say.

We're pretty good in midfield, and have decent options in goal.

Maybe a centre back, but our fullbacks can also do a decent job there if pushed.

So that leaves a forward who knows where the net is. It would be unfair to haul Matty Done back so soon after his move, but a couple of other former players spring to mind.

The head says Chris Dagall. Reliable, works hard, knows where the goals are, may well be underwhelmed at playing for a disorganised shambles (sorry, O's).

The heart however says Patrick McCourt. Won't get a quarter of the goals of a Dagnall (or Winnall/Garner/Madden/Bradshaw) but boy is he fun to watch!

Think a few others like Freeman and Matt Smith may have something to say about that considering JET playing was during Smith's stint with us.

Bloody hope JET doesn't join Swindon, I'd be tempted to drive across to watch him.

His goals and assists as a ratio of minutes played is definitely one of the highest in the league.

Dunno why he has never played with Wilbraham? Surely Smith and Wilbs are similar players.

JET came into the team whilst Agard and Wilbraham were injured and did fantastically well partnering Smith, but has been on the bench since..

He's played a huge part already, and he'll be back in the starting 11 between now and the end of the season.
