Going for a Salford vs AFC Fylde Final

Group of Fylde fans travelled to Hayes Lane this season. They were a cracking bunch. It was unseggregated and we stood watching the game along side them in the first half. Those that I was with and myself spent a lot of the time laughing at the shared “banter” and self deprecating humour.
Easily the best fans I came across this season.

For those guys and girls. I hope you go up! All the best.

Some people don’t like hearing it but the standard is definitely getting worse.

Normally you’d say that Salford will struggle when they come up but they won’t. They’ll pump a shitload of cash and take the best players from League 1. Hearing Virgo trying to justify today was really sickening.

The season Lincoln and FGR went up was very competitive in the top 5. Us, Tranmere and Aldershot were all very good that season.

If they don't go up then they'll sign most of the best players from League Two, at worst, including any 'threat' players from down here. If they do go up, they'll be putting Championship level money on the table for people.

I think many fans of lower and non-league clubs would rejoice if at this late stage the Football League after much heavy scrutiny discovered something wrong with these clubs that made both of them ineligible for promotion, regardless of today's result, and let Notts County keep their rightful place in the FL. In all seriousness, hope you lot bounce back quickly, to be out of the league even for one season is nothing short of a disgrace.
