Blimey, you are really up yourself. What are you doing grovelling around in the basement, having to play all these tin- pot teams every week? You will go back to the EFL on merit, or maybe not.

On this “merit” you speak of, you’ve been relegated yet will stay up due to Gateshead. Yet you are here talking about teams being in the division they deserve to be in.

Nah, they got their club back.

You could be right monkey, I dont know. Attendance has been pretty normal for us since they got their club back though. I mean I know we're tinpot but last night was embarrassing. He even dropped the prices of the tickets. Not sure if it's because of the football on the tele and the early kick off. A few people I know wont go on anymore because our chairman installed a massive fucking sign outside the ground supporting Brexit. Sensitive bunch around here

Not as daft as it sounds - our ex-chairman publicly backed the local conservative candidate on the pitch and there were people who never came back. In Barrow at least, televised football has a huge impact on our attendances, so you might be right.

Good luck to Wrectum tonight, and if not let Eastleigh go up for the comedy value. Bradford City will visit the Silverlake in their first EFL game, and a load of away fans' photos will go viral of this wonky ground from the non-league thanks to helpful retweets from people with usernames like ManLikeMorata.

Was ever so intrigued by the last two Flyde games, having visited on Saturday, initially intending to go to the Tranmere Rovers vs. Bury game but it being called off at noon. It felt when we got there that we may have already seen peak Flyde. The crowd was subdued and looked well down on our previous visits. They'd mixed the side up a bit and we glided past them. I looked up at the white bird shit pouring down the black cladding underneath the snazzy cellular roof beams on their grand stand and thought to myself if this was like visiting Nene Park at the same time ten years ago, that at least I can say I've been here before it all goes.

The official attendance vs. the Shaymen, with 350 away fans, was a laughable 1,891 given actual appearances. The PA man made a point of asking Flydians to stay behind after the game to watch their players do the lap of honour and it was pretty sad to see these blokes, on thousands a week, having got all this way through being spotted on park pitches as kids dribbling past five consecutive boys three years above, rising through the ranks at BELTs and no doubt expecting all the fast living and idolisation that traditionally is associated with the professional footballer... doing a lap of honour in front of two completely empty ends, and less than fifty that I saw remaining in the touchline terrace. You almost wanted to stay behind and clap for them, but the temperature had dropped, the wind was billowing and it was pouring down.

So a touch over 1,500 Flyde there on Saturday, or more likely 1,000 or so plus 500 season ticket holding absentees (can't imagine where they all went). There must've been 200 Harrogant there last night if that, seeing they had a smaller section of seating and a smaller presence behind the goal. For the biggest match of either side's history, 331 fans were officially down on the dead rubber game that Saturday against the Shaymen. Normally the playoffs are huge, and a tenner entrance fee incentivises it. I know with our big games people come up from the south, exiles fly over, fair weathers turn up, hen-pecked husbands bring their extended families, a group of three mates becomes eight... all that added up to a deficit for Flyde, as it couldn't plug the flow of Blackpool fans crawling back to their spiritual home. Sad!

Commiserations to the traditional, hard-nut, working class town of Harrogant, and we'll see you next season.

Yet another reason to dislike Fylde...
Football Chairman using their position as a platform for their political beliefs are usually no gooduns.

I was wondering, does this make AFC Flyde vs. Morning Wood the Hard Brexit Derby?

What sort of Brexit is the Flyde chairman advocating for? I know that the B’wood chairman was cheerleading May’s sickly stunted and unloved WA.

Our lineup is bizarre. There's at least 3 players on the bench who should be starting this.

Couple of years back UKIP were the match day sponsors for a Dover game and a few of their fans kicked up a massive stink about not going again.

Stream's gone down but it looked scrappy as owt. Possibly like watching us except you actually beat lower half teams. You do wonder how much there is to this league at times. And yes, I'd be mortified if Town had a match sponsored by the Ukips.

It’s how we play. It’s a sad indictment of this awful league that we finished where we did.

You've got nothing going forward at all. Sadly, the vision look a bigger threat.

The chance is there though with Reda Johnson and especially Boyce at centre half are clumsy as owt. If you can run at them they'll fall over.

How Boycey still get gets a game at pro level is unbelievable but as you say that's where we're at here.

We've got a better front three on the bench. If I was Stuart Beavon I'd be furious, Holroyd and Grant may as well not be there.

They're not putting a shift in at all. After Halifax, I'm baffled that we've gone with those 2. Can't wait to see Oswell, McGlashan and Rutherford introduced.

Stream's back on. Apparently there's a thing in football called "half-time".

Wrexham have been reffed out of that goal. There is going to be chaos on here if they go out now
