Those wollopings you gave us are ancient history mate, in true brotherhood style i am going to be very specific in bracketing the judgement of my side, and say we have won the last two and have a 100% recordagainst Tranmere for almost 2 years!
Your league win game was against a team of reserves when we were resting players for the play-offs and the other was a Swindle style FA Trophy game replay when the first game was abandoned. I’ve no idea how a normal strength Rovers would do in a league game against Solihull now but might get the chance to find out next season.

Actually think is more chance of Eastleigh beating Salford than Wrexham.

Wrexham would fire up Salford as supposed underdogs and get their mass of day trippers in showing a little bit of supposed ‘passion’

Eastleigh whacks a massive mass of pressure instantly onto Salford and makes it harder for them to get fully motivated, crowd quieter also.

Can see an undeserved, lucky Eastleigh win

hopefully their shithouse goalkeeper drops a clanger to make up for all the tomfoolery last night

i would much rather Salford out of this league, with Macc making their triumphant return next season ahead of County, who i fear would bounce straight back up

Fylde would be my pick to go up. Good experience for Dave Challinor who may be a future Rovers manager.

Nah, Eastleigh were out on their feet after an hour last night, didn't look like the fittest team so a 3 day turnaround won't be enough recovery.

Salford really aren't a great side, were very much inferior to us on the last day of the season, but we know the weapons they have. They've had a week off, are at home and don't think Eastleigh will cope with them.

You've got to feel for the Wrexham fans and every credit to them. They keep turning up in their thousands week after week. Astonishing really. It's so plain to see that they need a few players that can actually attack.

Salford will beat eastleigh, absolute certainty. I'll constantly be checking the betting sites tomorrow just waiting on a price. If they're anywhere near 4/6 I will be ringing plenty of my mates to get bets on for me. Us vs Solihull is a 50/50 game in my opinion. They wont want us as we always do well against them.

Roll on Saturday. 3 giant teams left and us

Prices just released. Salford generally 8/11 to 4/5 so fill your boots son.

Yes, we played a youth team in the game at Prenton Park, and the trophy defeat came a couple of days before a season-defining league game at Sutton. As a result, our players were not interested and went through the motions.

Hope Solihull come up though.

Yeah seen 3/4 as well, ridiculous price. That price will collapse once I've got these bets on. Christmas has come early

The Salford price for the League game at Moor Lane was 1.57 so the quote of 1.75 seems a bit generous especially given Eastleigh should fatigue as the match progresses.

Eastleigh took 15 (FIFTEEN) to us this season, on a Saturday.

Not a club that'll add value to the league in any way
They only brought just over 100 here in the play offs in 2015 and that was with free travel too.

Yeah I was talking in jest, i know we played an under-strength Tranmere and won in the trophy. I recall the 3-0, 9-0, 3-0 sequence and of the home three nil defeats remember thinking "wow, welcome to the big time." Tranmere were two classes above us on those days. We have changed and remarkably so, not saying we could go toe to toe with Tranmere (or that we even will as you could be two leagues above us next season) but be great to have the chance.

Todays the day boys. Sink or swim. Do not let me down. They're gonna bombard our box with there long ball, direct style of play. We have to get the ball down and make these lot work there bollox off to get it back

I think they're going to beat your lot up. You would have beaten them at Wembley but not on their 5-a-side sized pitch.

I didn't think much of Solihull when they came down to the Shay. Their long ball style of play suited us as our centre-halves win pretty much every header. Must have been the slowest backline I've seen too. We killed them with long balls over the top to our pacey strikers. The keeper has always been dodgy every time we have played them too.

Wrexham seem cursed. My sympathies to their long suffering supporters. It will be twelve years at this level, out of interest who has the next longest stretch, Gateshead, Dover?
Definitely not Dover....they were in Conference south 4 or 5 years ago.

The width of that pitch though. It's hilarious. There's almost another full sized pitch where Flowers is standing.

Solihull are actually a stain on the world of football. Bunch of absolute thugs with zero history. Hope they lose this and go down next year.

Would be great to see Flyde do it - the competition for players between them, Accrington, Fleetwood and Morecambe should drag them all back towards the tinpot trapdoor.
