Want Wycombe to win as they remind me of the side that we had when we went up, plus Gareth Ainsworth is a likeable bloke. Oh, and Southend is a far better away day for me than Wycombe ;)

I like our ground but I would never argue that Wycombe is a good away day if you want to make a proper trip out of it (unless you like strip pubs).

Does lightning ever strike in the same place twice? :2thumb:

According to your safety officer it does

Christ, I can only imagine the carnage happening if we come up against you next season.

Christ the police bill will be massive! Luckily we rarely have any police horses at our home games! :fl:

I was umming and erring about going but decided not to - why is it a 5:30pm kick off? had it been 3pm I would have gone, went to the JPT, been to 3 other various playoff finals at Wembley, not actually all that keen on it as a venue for football, give me the Millennium Stadium any day.

I've heard no reason why it's a late kick off, there's no olther football being played on the day so f*ck knows but it must be down to Sky. :hb:

I thought that, but then I'm sure up until now the PO finals have kicked off at 3pm. They've all been televised as far as I'm aware.

Can't help the nerves on the day for either side, or getting home if you live far away - not so bad for Wycombe or Southend but others (only really Preston) will suffer.

to be fair with all the 'expected' strikes that were to have happen I'd thought most would have booked buses expecting no trains anyway

From what i can remember you're right they're always 3 PM kick offs. I'll look this up to see why it's so late.

I think Southend will JUST edge it, but its a very close final.

My old mate Paul Hayes plays for Wycombe and has scored and won promotion in the playoffs finals with Barnsley and Scunthorpe, so I hope he does well.

I think Southend / Wycombe * will win it easily / it will be close*

* note to self, edit straight after the game so people think I'm a genius

To say I'm nervous about tomorrow is an understatement.

Supporting Southend I've learnt to go into games like this expecting the worst but hoping for the best.

All joking aside, this has to be one of the most evenly matched play off games for a long time. Personally in games like this I want the team that plays the best on the day to win. Good luck , and enjoy the day if your going

Sky didn't want the game to clash with the Scottish games!

I think it could be for the Americans, same as the FA cup. But keeping the Americans happy can only upset the Asian market. It does drop nicely into prime time Saturday night middle eastern time

Come on Southend. Win and give us Clifford, as well as letting us have our just desserts against Wycombe. Looking forward to welcoming McClure and Bloomfield back to ours, cheating bitches.

You'll all be happy to know that our Dave will be a guest on the show. Expect him to talk a lot of mumbo jumbo when a few words could have had the same effect.

The final will hinge upon if Ingram is fit as i don't fancy having a rookie keeper in goal for such a big game even though Lynch did well in the 2nd leg at home to Plymouth.

Where do you currently stand on your football ground attendance boycott stance? Remember the good old days of Stockport, Macclesfield and Millwall? Surely more interesting than the NFL!
And I agree Mil Stad pisses all over Wembley!

And for those who don't know what to watch before this, I'll advise all of you to stream a link of the last day of the German Bundesliga, especially the fight for the drop. It's gonna be mental!

Our play off final in 2013 kicked off at 1.30, shame we didn't turn up until 3.00 !
