Well done Southend.
Some might say it's a bit unfair on Wycombe as they finished 4th, but it was only goal difference that separated the teams in the league, as evidenced by a final that by all accounts could have gone either way, and in the end it was Southend who triumphed by the only means that could separate the teams, and by a single penalty. And while Wycombe have done tremendously well to turn their fortunes round so quickly, the fact is they're bloody lucky to have still been in this division in the first place, so I imagine many Rovers fans won't be too unhappy about this result, as well as Colchester who will look forward to renewing acquaintances with Southend after their great escape.
