Anyway, to avoid going round in circles in what could be a very dull thread, i've said my piece on that.

North End fans, what is the likelihood of Maguire being fit enough to start this one?

Exactly its all created a buzz, Hull is another example, those clubs managed to get to the Prem to capitalise on it though. Like I say, i'd wait to see if it's sustained before getting a chip on your shoulder like TTOCs.
I don't, I think your home crowds are pretty poor but then I said the same about ours a few years back so it's not a matter of dishing it out without being able to receive it.

We'll see, have a core of 15k STHs atm so...

As i've said, Bristol is at least 4 times the size of Preston, with a huge catchment area, as the nearest Prem club to you is over 2 hours away (even then, Bournemouth, Swansea and Southampton are hardly a big pull). Even 15k season ticket holders is a bit low when you look at it like that.

Kind of embarrassing from your point of view that you're trying to score points off us. Our home crowds are around 10% of the population of Preston, with Manchester and Liverpool 40 minutes away.

If you fail to be promoted and continue to get the same crowds a few seasons down the line, then fair play, but I doubt you would.

The cup run will of won a few extra st sells but on the whole you on the money as the club will get greedy start annoying the fans, relegation or something will happen & it be back to 8,000 on a Tuesday night claiming there12 ,000

City do the same every time they start getting crowds

I'm not trying to score any points, merely engaging in the discussion.

Not sure, I reckon he might get another 25-30 mins tomorrow night and then start against Fulham. If he's fit enough to last 60-65 mins I'd be starting him.

Our support is shit but I live in Leyland just outside Preston. Just as easy for me to get to Ewood Park and the Macron as it is Deepdale so there are a lot of clubs about.

Tough one to call this. We always beat Bristol but we're a completely different side at home and I don't trust us to pick up a win against anyone at Deepdale at the moment.

But then again. Seani is back. He's that spark we have been craving these last couple of months. The final piece of the jigsaw.

I hope he starts in place of Bodin dropping Robbo back in.

Must win and then take a point against Fulham

Given where you signed Bodin from, you would have thought he would get fired up for a game against us.

Like I’ve said, we don’t travel anywhere north of the midlands. Looks like we’ve sold out for Burton on Saturday. How many does that hold? 1,800?

Our away support is so inconsistent.

He looks a very tidy player but he wouldn't be in my strongest 11 yet. I do think he will start tomorrow though and i have no qualms if he does.

But
Robinson Browne Barkhuizen
Maquire

That gets me moist

Does an away win end all hope for PNE? 6 points and at least 3 teams seems a lot to make up over 10 games from a team that rarely lose but are rarely capable of a winning run.

Still not over Saturday?

Thought you'd care about SU more but seemingly not. They won't get anything at Fulham tonight imo so if we win the gap will widen.

Probably. But a win puts is right in the mix of the teams that are moving between 6th. Currently on the edge of that group and 6 points will probably be too much

You'd say so. Win and it's game on, lose and it's all over.

Fisher for Woods the only change as expected. Fancy our front 4 to tear Flint, Wright and Magnusson apart tonight.

I would have liked to see Eros start again TBH.
Too much for him to play 2 games in 3 days at this stage of his recovery I´d have thought. And there was no way Johnson would leave a fit Wright out against his old club.

I don't disagree but we looked so much better with a proper fullback, that's nothing against Bailey BTW.
