Same old story. Dominating possession, creating more chances but either defensive mistakes, freak shots (yes, you Neil) or more clinical opposition equalling defeats.

Freeman should be fucking culled for missing that header

Lucky to come away with a point in the end.

Sounded like a decent performance. Happy with a point after the defeat seemed inevitable for so long.

Kilkenny you wanker.

I'll take that! Decent point, a good performance and the very predictable late Preston winner never happened. Definitely something positive to build on.

Another decent performance by the sounds of it, and kept chances for them down to a premium. Just need to fucking take ours.

Poor result.

To be fair to our fans, watching Grayson football is eye gougingly awful.

Luckily I moved to Kent so my eyeballs are safe..

Listened to the game from Germany and we really need to start finishing these chances we are making. It's been the story of our season so far, we miss chance after chance while our opposition take every one of theirs ( not that Preston only had 1 chance tonight but it sounded like we missed a fair few, as usual). A name fellow reds? A finisher? A decent sniffer in our team would score a boat load wouldn't he? We make enough chances.
What's Agard done wrong by the way? He can't get a start at all at the mo. Pissed Cott's off or something?

Utter fucking wank that, if it wasn't for Pickford, who was outstanding we would have been absolutely pasted.

Hilarious that Kilkenny scored, it was a fucking beauty as well. Garner's effort that hit the bar was a screamer too. Shite apart from that.

First of all, Grayson got it wrong to start with, we should not be playing 3 centrebacks and two holding midfielders at home. At all. He needs to drop Huntington (not for his performances, for tactical reasons) and put Clarke and Wright at CB with Vermijl or Woods at RB. If he plays Clarke at rightback again he needs fucking sectioning.

Kilkenny and Welsh don't work together. Everyone said it last season and nothing has changed. I really like both players individually but for some reason it does not work. I thought Welsh was very poor tonight and look shattered whereas I thought Kilkenny was very good (apart from giving the ball away a couple of times in the first half) yet he takes Kilkenny off.

Everyone around me was saying May looked "lively" which basically means he ran around a lot without doing anything, which isn't his fault as we are creating nothing through midfield, same for Garner. I thought Doyle looked better on Saturday than May.

As for the substitutions and going 3 up front when 1-0 up, I liked that. I thought it got us higher up the field and for 10 minutes or so we nullified them completely. Then they broke up the field and scored. Clarke stood off his man and watched him cross the ball for a free header for Wilbraham (who for some bizarre reason then decided he wanted to try and start a fight with our fans, bit odd).

After the goal we just fell apart, they were cutting through us with ease and could have had 3. Freeman was excellent apart from missing one of the easiest free headers you will ever see. Thought Kodjia was quieter in the second half but you can tell he has something quality about him. Little caused us problems down the right when he came on. I thought a draw was a fair result just about but we were lucky to get it after the shambolic last 5-10 minutes. Pickford is a fantastic keeper but his kicking seems to have gone shite last couple of games.

Frustrating to lose the lead and we need to start winning games but it's only what we should have expected. People who were harbouring hopes of a top 10 finish were deluded, quite frankly. My grandad said on the way home "It's going to be a long hard season I'm afraid." Well no shit, what were you expecting?

I'm driving to Brentford on Saturday, hopefully we can sneak a result.

UTW.
