Bailey Wright was definitely man of the match.

Impressed with all the new signings.

Got to agree with all that's been said. Bailey Wright was awesome. His best game in a PNE shirt.

Welsh kept Downing very quiet and put his self about like he does.

Pickford kicking was top notch.

Cunningham looks a top buy.

Garner caused havoc again.

All looking good. UTW

Got to say even though it was 0-0,enjoyed that more than any game in League 1 last season.

The competitiveness of the championship makes it such a good league to watch.

Dunno about that, he was unreal in that second leg against Chesterfield, I suppose if you take the standard of opposition into account though then it's a fair comment. Haven't seen Huntington's name mentioned anywhere today but he quietly went about his business and didn't look out of place, more of the same please.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but that game at Deepdale last season with us that finished 1-1 was one of the most competitive games I have ever seen. Both teams were on a ridiculous run of form, and it was a totally even game.

Good point, it was a game that was out of place in that awful awful league.

Think the best game I saw in League One was that 2-2 draw with Bradford when Kyel Reid played like Eden fucking Hazard.

Hunts and Clarke were both superb as well. But for me Bailey stood out.

Yeah I'll go with that. League one was awful. Both teams were far better than anyone else in that league along with MK. The championship is a different kettle of fish though. Going head to head with a team who have just splashed out 10 million on players and giving as good as we got was great to watch.

Money can't buy team spirit, organisation and determination. We have it in abundance

He reminds me of Paul Dickov when he played. A twat to everyone who isn't a PNE fan but a very effective player.

Garner is one of the nicest people you'll meet off the pitch.

He's bought me a load of drinks on nights out:)
