I got annoyed the other week against Bristol City, saying they were nothing special, which they weren't on the day. At least they're not a dirty diving cheating side though. Not just Garner but he was far and away the worst for it. The referee was so weak to it all though as most are in this league.

I know he's a c***, he's played against us before, dived and scored the resulting penalty.

It's part of football, he's not the first player and he won't be the last. Saying you would be embarrassed if he played for Rochdale is quite frankly boring and pathetic.

First half was shite, definitely didn't deserve to go into half time with a 1-0 lead.

Second half was better but still not a great spectacle, we had 3 or 4 very, very good chances to put the game to bed but just didn't take them. John Welsh was man of the match, covered loads of ground and broke things up well, he didn't have much competition though.

I'm fairly certain the referee forgot his cards today though, Rochdale are a very niggly, cynical side and we got away with a couple as well. Don't think i've ever seen a referee so reliant on his linesman either, shite.

Anyway, another 3pts on the board, performances are irrelevant at this stage.

And yes Tom I would be ashamed the same way I was when John Coleman had our whole team adopting very similar tactics when he was in charge at Dale. Nobody and I mean nobody is as bad as Garner though. Bobby Grant would be a distant second after Garner and he loved a good dive.
