So with Wycombe up by one goal, Argyle will have to win by two goals or more to win that trip to Wembely. Only win by one goal means ET and penalties. Any other result, and Wycombe progress.

I have a feeling this will go to Extra Time and penalties with Argyle winning 1-0, and then win the penalty shootout.

Yeah I could see a 0-0 or 0-1 in this game. The first goal, I feel, decides the tie.

Plymouth to go through. I think they'll win 2-1, and then score another in et or win the pen shootout.

Really enjoyed the first game. Neither side defended all that well with Plymuff lacking concentration and the Wycombe keeper looking a bag of nerves. Reckon this could be another high scoring game. Gonna say 2-2 FT with Wycombe just edging it on agg.

Matt Ingram is fit to play in goal thank f*ck! This won't be pretty with so much at stake so i'll go for a dire 0-0.

Ingram now not fit so Lynch in goal again. :bang: Seems he broke down earlier today, if Plymouth don't go through they need f*cking shooting!

2-0 Wycombe. Would be amazed if Plymouth turned this around, but then we thought that about Sheff U on Monday too.

This has been a terrible standard. That level of hoofing will not cut it in League One, not a chance.

Plymouth have been absolutely terrible. Good to see some ex bees in action. Mawson looks like the real deal, shame he probably won't stay at Brentford as we won't give him first team football at the moment.

Surprised at how bad Plymouth have been. That's going to be a long journey home at this rate.

Suggestions that we may be after him in the summer. Would you be likely to let him go permanently or is it more likely to be a loan? Sounds a similar situation to John Egan last summer - got offered a contract at Blackburn but chose us due to being first choice.

Absolute shite by both sides.

Wycombe's keeper looks a liabilty but doesn't really matter if you don't hit a shot on a target.

Fair play Wycombe, well deserved victory over the two legs.

I thought that all of these play off games were decent, and very entertaining. Although that might just be because of the football on offer at Brunton Park :dk:

Second half was better, once Plymouth realised they might need to shoot to have a chance of getting through. Was quite impressed by Bobby Reid.

Ironically shortly after my post he made some big saves, credit where credit is due.

Think it's Southends to lose at Wembley based on what I've seen from all four teams over two legs.

Bring on the Southend. Argyle fans have to be pissed off with that showing, had they grabbed an early goal we could well have got rattled but it took them ages to register a shot on target (again).

I wish we'd piss around less though, 6 mins stoppage time yet again.

Yeah, from what I've seen this season I think a full strength Wycombe side are a bit better than Southend. I don't think there's much in it though, both teams fall under the solid but unspectacular category for me (mind you, I thought the same about Burton).

Yeah, over two legs we must have had a shocking amount of shots on target. Not good enough to get through, and we didn't deserve to. Oh well. Truth be told, making the playoffs far exceeded my expectations for this season, so that in itself makes this season a good one for me. Sure, I could dream that we'd go all the way, but it never really felt like it could happen. Our problem for the last couple of years shone through again tonight; for me we just don't have players that are good enough. McCormick is actually the only player in the team that I'd be sad to leave. Yes, Reid got a lot of goals, but to me it still feels like more a fluke season that actually him being all that great.

I'd like to see Wycombe go all the way now. Good luck.

Fair play to you.

I really thought Sheridan would have started with the line-up that got you back into the first leg, I overheard a couple of your fans moaning about his team selection on the train back to London.

To be fair many posters in this division seem to rate McCormick but I don't think he helped you tonight. I was bricking it when our goalie Ingram failed again to recover in time and we were left with a rookie in goal again, but again you didn't test him.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I know the answer probably is they have been better but fromt he game I seen against them vs Carlisle and the bits from Play-off games I have to ask how on earth did Plymouth get into the top 7???

they look so so far below quality that I sort';ve cannot believe they got in.

did they lose key players or just hit a poor form at wrong time? or has L2 been extremely poor outside the top 5?
