Completely at random. kentpogomap picks them up and they have a discord which sends a notification if one appears in Kent. Fortunately I've been near 3 of the places they've come up.

Last day today, possibly last morning. Moltres should replace it at some stage.

I've not even seen one, let alone had the chance to get involved in catching one. In fact, I've not even taken part in any raids yet... still not entirely sure of what they're all about. All I tend to do is just catch stuff and hit pokestops on the way to work and back

You'll need probably 10 @ level 25+ to take down an Articuno and maybe 14 for a Lugia in a raid and then you have 6-11 balls depending on who had gym control and which team was the dominant in taking the legend down.

Ours is all done via facebook with 250 members in our town active on it. Managed to get on the last articuno raid this evening to help 3 get their first catch.

I wasn't keen on the social aspect at first as I didn't really know anyone playing it then I met with a bloke I went to Tottenham with and 2 old school mates at raids.
