Sorry, I still don't understand and unless someone puts me right about this, it sounds incredibly offensive to me.

Its like saying a sweaty goal. Its something I find quite offensive and I would never say it.

I've got no idea but as said before, the best players rarely seem to get nominated for the award.

Going back to the game, having looked at the highlights again your keeper can have no complaints about his dismissal. Second one is a yellow card and if he hadn't persistently timewasted for the first half hour (not just the incident when he got booked) then he wouldn't have got the first.

Never even a foul, let alone a yellow.

I gotta say when I saw it live I thought your keeper had won the ball so was a bit shocked that the card came out, there was definite time wasting before the first yellow though, the referee had already used his arms to wave for him to hurry up moments before. After the first yellow whilst the ball was out of play I noticed MA shouting at your keeper and waving a yellow card at him and then making a gesture to either slow it down or calm it down, not sure if he was going along with the lines of "keep time wasting as you've already been booked and the ref wouldn't send a keeper off for 2 yellows for time wasting or he was alerting him to the yellow that surely he knew he had.

Just want to apologise for my previous post, by no means did I mean to cause offence, I don't even know how the two are even linked but anyways sorry lads!!

Ok, apology accepted.
I didn't realise at the time that the ref had given Stephens prior warning before the first yellow, I think his inexperience showed up there.
McKenzie-Lyle's definitely did!
