Urban still has no idea how good Sinclair is, which is excellent, been one of the better CM's I've seen this season and one of our best players, considering our position that's pretty excellent.

Mr e10rifle still has a little bee in his bonnet from Lines' comments after our loss to Orient early in the season. Considering our positions, it would seem that Lines' comments weren't entirely ludicrous.

That being said, I actually think Orient have one of the best squads in the league. Granted, that should be expected, with the size of their budget, but their failings have been mainly down to having a poor manager. Bit soon to say Nolan will sort them, but anything less than playoffs this season for them would be a failure even now I feel.

Wether pound for pound they are better than us really doesn't matter as we are more than a match for anyone, we certainly aren't over achieving and it's not like we get outclassed by the bigger teams, we've got a good squad at the level with an excellent manager.

As for Pompey, I expect a backlash but if we can get them nervy later on we have a good shot

I'm just hoping we reach 52 points to be honest, that should be enough to stay up.

Up nice and early, not nervous or tense at all just nice to have a day out to a big club for a change. Maybe that could explain Pompeys home record in some way. Would take a point to end our month and a half block of tough games.

the "big day out" definitely plays a part in some of our home struggles for sure. But our players don't help as they really seem to feel the pressure as well

Love it when teams come to fratton and try to out play us. The only team to come close was Morecambe other than some clever work from Appleton the rest have parked the bus time wasted and ground out results. 3-1 is a very flattering score for Bristol mildenhall was immense in goal today and score could have been silly without him.

Make no mistake about it, losing that 3-1 flattered us. We were simply dreadful. Easily one of our worst performances of the season

DC got it completely wrong today, he's usually on the money but today would have been perfect to go 3-5-2 and try and frustrate Pompey. As if that wasn't wrong, the selection was dreadful with Easter and Lawrence having no right to be in our first 11. Took us 25 minutes to string a couple of passes together, we didn't get going and we made it very, very easy for them. Take nothing away from Pompey, good team, but when you hear from the management and squad all week that we need to try and frustrate Pompey early and then make the game wide open for them, it's baffling.

Literally the second before the second goal went in, I'd said to my dad that if we go in for HT 1-0 down we've still got a slight chance for a point. Then, second goal went in and it was game over. Not that we'd have deserved anything anyways, mildy probably the only player to come out with credit, he stopped it being a cricket score.

Hugely disappointing, we're better than that, and if we want to get into the playoffs we better step it back up and respond well, it's getting very crowded up there.

Awful yesterday, has to be a day off. Couldn't even string passes together and our first shot on target was in the 88th min.

Have to win next week and then we need to have more of an influence on the game at Wycombe.
