I don't really see it as cheating, time wasting is a form of game management. I see cheating being things like diving, purposely handling the ball to gain an advantage etc. Although I do get where you're coming from with the feigning injury to waste time, I don't see it being much worse than dragging your heels when taking a set piece or slowly leaving the field of play and these are generally considered normal tactics.

I also don't care about the Vale fans boo-ing a player who was actually injured, I get why it happened. Even if we hadn't been feigning injury left, right and centre, if they booed or called the guy a cheat, who gives a shit?

Tommy Fraser lol. I remember that, guy was desperate to put us in our place etc, etc. Got suspended so missed the replay, well played Tommy lad! Made all the difference from the away end.

As for feeling sad for Notts County. We're in the league on merit and we've survived up until now on merit, if they're bad enough to finish in the bottom two of this shitty league they deserve to go down.

Yes I do face the pitch. Smith was shocking today. Guthrie completely bossed him.

The one where Brown saved it near the edge of the area was down to Smith being bullied.
He throws one of these in now and again but has been great recently.
I agree with Legge and Crookes, the problem with Crookes is once in the final third he does not have a clue what to do with it.
Often passes to someone who is marked in a tight space as that is the easy option.

Not sure what you are harping on about Dan if you think criticism of Smith is unjust but time and time again in this division the likes of Rhead, Akinfenwa, Guthrie, Norwood etc have him on toast.

Yesterday was a blip as he has been outstanding recently. Just saying it as I saw it, maybe the sun was in my eyes.

Smith bosses Akinfenwa at Wycombe last season. People still forget maybe he is young, 160 games all in three years but he is still learning.

Legge had a mare yesterday, in fact non of the back four did any good, Stevenage hardly battered us or really put us under pressure for periods yet got four goals and that isn’t good enough.

Seasons over so it’s probably the best 4-1 loss ever in terms of the bigger picture being achieved yesterday. Key now is to get rid of Norman and see proper investment and recruitment so we can get up the leagues. If a side who can only muster 90 fans for an end of season game with play offs in sight can do well in this league there is no excuse for this football club not to be up there. Better recruitment and wise decision making is a must this summer. Three years of total cock up after cock up, we’ve got away with it by keeping our EFL status but we can’t carry on in this vein.

The only way forward is what people have been banging on about since Rob Page days .
Quality over quantity.
We can't be using 25-30 players every season and expect to do anything.

There's got to be a scenario where instead of loading up with for example Vassell, Rawlinson and Turner on say 500 a week , we go for a quality player on 1500 a week.

We have got to prune the squad , a massive cull is needed this summer.

We need to be in for proven players not chancers.
No saying that works either as Joyce and Legge are proven but have had very average seasons.

The side is crying out for pace for starters and if playing the so called Popeball next season then we will have to be prepared for similar dross to the last couple of years.

It's either Pope and a partner up front or Pope as a sub from 65 mins onwards.

Please post this in the referees room before the start of every match these mardarsing tossers play.

Well we’ve been saying that for a couple of summers now, Aspin even said that was his plan last year and went on a signing spree.

Crucial to keep or replace Oyeleke for a start, get rid of dead wood, a decent strike partner for Pope and go from there.
