I wish there was some decent chat on here, rather than 18 year olds who are socially inept maybe try tinder

I'm sorry if my anxiety and anti social awkwardness offends you.

As opposed to your badge which has 2 owls, a scythe and a waffle?

I have looked again at the Vale Badge, I have no idea if they are Owls or not, did Stevie Wonder design your badge?

Owls? That is pottery! Don't you ever, EVER have a go at pottery.

Where's that Swindon fan gone who had an obsession with Tom Pope gone?

Ah pottery!! of course! And what beautiful pots they are Dave!

So what's the deal with the bird's eye potato waffle.

We have a long, historical association with breakfast foods

Our badge in the 50s had a bottle of milk on it

I can't believe Vale are still going on about 2004 and our Hartlepool game. It was 1 - 1 by the way. Surely if we were playing out for a draw it would've been 0 - 0, no?

By the way, I don't like Vale much either. It was about 2004 (or earlier) when I went to Vale Park to watch us win, thankfully, on the supporters coach. For no reason at all, as we were coming out of the ground a brick was thrown through the window of the coach. The glass showered an elderly lady a few rows in front of me.

Makes hammering you most games since that bit sweeter.

Wow this thread really has got childishly ridiculous. How Swindon is least attractive is beyond me, regularly bring 400 plus, oh this coming Tuesday we welcome Crawley who brought was it 23 last season? Can,t hold it against Swindon for knobbing us on a regular basis, i have memories of promotion clashes when Macari was manager, think it was 0-0 at County Ground with about 12,000 crowd, also went opening day live on Central when Fjortoft scored, we lost again !! On to tomorrow we got to get 4 points from these next 2 games minimum. Granted our record lately is gash but if Crawley and Gills can beat them recently why can,t we ? That said i don,t fancy us purely due to the fact each time we get within touching distance we balls it up. Draw tomorrow and win Tuesday would be decent, 1-3 though is my prediction with Pope being anonymous.

Incidentally we have sold 418 pre match so should be around 750 Swindon fans in your monstrous away end!! (Would make great play-off opponents thinking about it)

If, heaven forbid, we don't make then autos, then us finishing third and Vale finishing sixth would be OK.

I'm a bit surprised at all the Vale fans having a pop at us. I've always enjoyed trips up Boundary Park and I much prefer Port Vale to Stoke. I really don't want to be forced to reconsider that.

Same team as last weekend. 3 strikers on the bench so scope to change if need be.

Needs to be the good Swindon that shows up today if we are to bring 3 points home, gutted I can't be there.

Hopefully the 3-6-1 gives Marshy and Moore the freedom to get in behind and do the damage. We will probably get over run in the middle mind!

Sounds like we started sloppy but since the goal have had the majority of the game. We need to sort the defending out though.

Sounds like we shouldn't of lost that, poor finishing, the crossbar, good keeping and a typical early Vale defensive cock up.

Sounds like a very frustrated Vale Park. Onto Creepy on Tuesday.

A scrappy 1 - 0. I'll take that.

Keeping the pressure on Preston, that's all we can do and hope they slip up.

Great result for us

Nice to put a touch of daylight between us and MK as well. Didnt see us keeping a clean sheet today so chuffed with that.

We go to Donny on Tuesday and Preston host Peterborough.

Is that the Peterborough who have won 4 on the trot?

Come on, Posh!

We deserved apoint out of the game today but again we give a sloppy goal away and have to chase the game. Shame the Town players took to bad sportsmanship from the minute they went 1-0 up. Foderingham should have been booked but the ref bottled it, he kept putting the ball down on one one side of the 6 yard box and the just before kicking it he picked it back up and took it to the other end of the box. Other Town players kept going down pretending to be injured and then get up and walk off the longest way to waste more time. Saw Neal do it one earler in the season and was booked for it. Inconsistant reffing.

I hate time wasting so can imagine how frustrating that would have been.

That said, delighted with the 3 points, very much needed! :)
