Seems to be a lot of talk tonight that all is not good in the Vale camp with a number of players supposedly causing issues. May explain a few things!

Last season the dressing room was outstanding so not sure what has changed, we built our success of that.

Thought we’d left those days behind from the Hannant, Miller, Whitfield days when Askey was ruthless with what he saw and released them all.

No idea which or why but we need to sort it fast if the case, we’ve enough experienced heads in there.

Would not be surprised one bit if McKirdy is at the centre of that.

A Good month with a settled team brings us on the edge of the play offs. Doyle looking sharp
One goal conceded since we dropped Billy the fish....The defence looks confident with a decent keeper.
Midfield hit today with Tutte tearing a thigh muscle. Gone above the bin dippers though they have games in hand.
If we can keep a settled team through to January then we need to make a couple of Marque signings [for div 2]
No reason why we cannot go up automatically.

Never give up, it may be that you go out of the league this season. You like us have not been blessed with the right owners, get your embargo out the way and you can return stronger in a season or two.

He wasn’t out much last season that i recall but we seem to be rushing him back this season each time.

Bit late to the party on this one because i've been avoiding anything related to football really busy.

It's good to see the Orient fans noticing some positives as I thought there's a chance I've been losing my mind on this recent run. They sum it up perfectly really, a neutral watching it thinks "how have vale not won there" but a vale fan watching it goes "Same mistakes, same lack of clear cut chances, same frailties"

i don't think the strikers are to blame. We seem to get chances by luck rather than actually creating them ourselves and Askey's solution is to swap one striker for another, play him for 2 games and then swap again after that does work.

It was fine to start with but we're on the third lap of that now and it's getting frustrating as the striker is clearly not the problem, it's getting the ball to him in a meaningful position on the pitch.
