As a Liverpool fan I am somewhat disappointed with the signings Rojers has made so far - Benteke is clearly not a proven goal scorer at the top level. I would like to see us go for someone with real quality or experience like pogba, lacazette, walters or pedro. Any thoughts on who we should sign going forward?

Well 42 goals in 89 appearances for a team which would have been a certainly for relegation without him isnt too shabby?

DarkSithLord well he isn't proven at a big club like Liverpool or Chelsea say. Rojers, the manager of Liverpool!! I still think Rojers is a class manager but some of his recent signings have been poor, like markovic from Valencia last year.

Benteke is definitely good enough to play in a top side given his record, I imagine Liverpool fans are just concerned with the fee, however it was just smart from Villa to have a clause included of that value. Only time will tell if the fee is justified, but no doubting his quality.
