Anyone arsed about the Charity shield? Be nice to win it, but not the end of the world. Hoping some of the young lads who have done well in the friendlies get a run out. But there’s plenty of senior players who need a game.

Yeah, Ashley's cuntery is getting a lot more attention since Rafa joined, a high profile manager with the balls to speak about and criticise him in public. Nobody else has done that, Keegan aside. This sort of nonsense has been going on for 11 years remember, and the general football public are only beginning to really pay attention to it now. Previously we've had 'yes men' like McClaren and Pardew who we're just delighted to have a job they didn't deserve. Keegan won a constrctive dismissal case against this regime 9 years ago and nobody batted an eyelid. Rafa knows he can walk in to another, better, job once his contract is up. And what's Jabba going to do about the manager exposing him and his mates? Sack him and risk the PL money? A large reason Rafa is loved so much, other than being a terrific manager and all round nice guy, is his drawing of attention to the theft and awful management going on at the club. Will be a sad day for the city when he leaves at the end of the season.

Well said mate, such a shame that fat-arse still owns the club. You can't move forward and realise your potential even with Rafa in charge unless he's punted off with a fat cheque (whilst most of his staff are on less than the breadline).

Surely it can't be long before you get new ownership now. Just a shame Rafa won't be your manager then.
