Just beat AFC Fylde 6-1.

Robinson (2), Maguire (2), Huntington and Hughes.

They scored a generous penalty. We looked good but hard to take anything when you play a Conference side with a few trialists on show.

Storey is a unit.

Maguire looks very sharp doesn’t he.

Ridiculously so.

Horgan and Moult looked tidy in the first half, hopefully they can come good.

Impressed with Hughes. Would like to see how he gets on against better opposition but, he looks an encouraging replacement for Cunningham.

Couldn't believe how big that Storey is. Frightening.

Robinson defo been on the steds as well.

Don't know how we're going to get rid of Andy Boyle, podgy fucker. Bottom half L1 at best but he's on £5k a week here.

Storey is a big unit. He was dominating players in L2 last season and he’s got a turn of pace too for a big guy. Expect he will have a good season when given a chance.

Why are you playing a bunch of pub teams for pre season?

Playing West Ham and Burnley at Deepdale next.

The first few games are always about building up fitness and implementing what the manager is asking tactics wise in game situations.

So don't act 'ard.

Pretty much what PC said...

Our first three last season were Bamber Bridge, Chorley and Accrington, so replace Accy with Fylde and Chorley with the Irish team.

Just watched our game from last night.

I continue to be super impressed with this kid. So calm on the ball, great positional sense, technically superb for a big CB (strokes the ball around like a cultured midfielder)..... and was barking orders out to the more senior players. Unbelievable that he's only played 17 games in his career.

I reckon we've got a good un here. Hope you negotiated a decent sell-on %

Drew 2-2 with West Ham, Clarke & Bodin with the goals.

Very good game for a friendly, Arnautovic is class, take him out of the West Ham team and it would have probably been a comfortable afternoon, no one else stood out for them and their new £22m centre back looked shite.

Probably should have won it, had a goal disallowed which looked onside, forced the keeper into two good saves, Moult missed a sitter and Bodin was inches away in the final minutes. That said, Maxwell did save a penalty from Noble and tip a header onto the bar.

Bodin's goal was a beauty, Bergkamp-esque.

Beat NAC Breda 1-0 in a behind closed doors friendly at Manchester City's training complex, Adthe Nuhiu with the goal. 3 wins from 3 with 3 clean sheets the league is ours for the taking.

Best Arsenal 2-1 yesterday behind closed doors. They had a very strong team though, basically their first XI (had Leno, Aubameyang, mostly anyone not involved in the WC)

Will say we were gifted one of our goals by a defensive mistake, but still, cracking result even if it’s only pre-season

Thought we were very good today. The depth in our squad is very encouraging.

We drew 0-0 at Mansfield, I think that's the first friendly we haven't won for 2 years.

We were very good. They were very dirty for a friendly game

Our sub XI lost 2-1 to a Spurs team today, one containing the likes of Aurier, Wanyama, Son.

Drew 0-0 with La Liga side, Girona. Played well, few more players and we might have a chance of finishing around mid-table this year.

We beat Southampton 3-0 yesterday. I know it’s only a friendly, but it’s difficult not getting excited by the attacking football we saw.

If we can get Marriott in, we could be a force. Currently think we just lack that quality up front to really challenge. Nugent and Jerome are nowhere near good enough.

How’s Storey doing? Reckon he will make the match day squad this early on?

Looked impressive but can't see him starting just yet as he has three good centre backs in front of him and I'm struggling to decide which one misses out.

He will get his chance though, long, hard season.

Lost 3-2 to Burnley, Harrop and Robinson with the goals. Another decent game.
