Trailing that final Friday night game as opposition to get excited about, not Everton if we have already played their kids, mid-table Prem side? Someone on our forum guessed Brentford which seems a decent shout.

This madness has to stop. The authorities need to get involved immediately and force the clubs to either change names or switch grounds. Otherwise it’s going to cause all kinds of confusion for everyone once Cleethorpes reach the EFL.

Bury at Gigg Lane on 8th July

Buzzing with that. GL is probably my most visited away ground, that I thought I’d never visit again given their off-field issues.

Should be a very healthy crowd.

Coventry at home on the 25th July, Northampton at home on the 29th... our final pre-season friendly is a home game against Northampton...

This season is going to be dire.
I forgot to add that Barnet was also confirmed after this.

July 11th: Wealdstone A
July 15th: Barnet A
July 25th: Coventry H
July 29th: Northampton H

Really not a very inspiring set of fixtures.

We're playing Philadelphia Union II (youth team I think) on the 28th July to finish off the US tour.

Nice dose of jetlag ready for the new season.

We've announced Wealdstone away on the 11th July.

Also somebody has suggested that we'll be facing Barnet, Northampton and Coventry too in the summer. Northampton at home may just be the most depressing friendly we've had since the move.
Anyone that agrees to a friendly with you lot should automatically be deducted points.

We’ve added Millwall at home.
Pre-season friendly?
Millwall and friendly should never be used in the same sentence.

Usual rag tag and bobtail for Crawley.

East Grinstead (next town east from here), Three Bridges (a neighbourhood in Crawley), Heybridge Swifts, Bromley (all away) and Crystal Palace (at home).

Palace wont be the first team, Bromley will be a good test but the one that intrigues me is Swifts. Managed by Southend's greatest ever player, Steve Tillson, they are said to have a group of players who should be playing higher. Could be worth going..then you realise its a Tuesday night.

We did it last season but can someone explain the thought process of going to a warm weather training camp? Team bonding I get but why train in 30' heat? You're not going to get those conditions in the UK very often. Probably better off having a traing camp in Tromso rather than Torremolinos.

The one that died in the 80's that had links to the owners of Wimbledon FC, the Mercedes factory team that changed their name and died in the early 2000's, or the youth football team?
The one that died when Winkleman's football frenzy rolled into town.

Mercedes Benz FC then. They're probably a bit too busy trying to beat Red Bull in the F1 to care about a factory team that died 20 years ago, which incidentally was also months before Wimbledon FC ever played a game in Milton Keynes

I'm sure I read somewhere that the owner of mkc went to meetings in Wimbledon against the move & spoke up against it?

Quite possibly. They were still a car factory workers team masquerading as an old defunct club however. Of all of the non league teams in the Milton Keynes area they were the least likely to gain any serious traction. Then when it all happened and was agreed he seemed to have given in and packed it all up.
