That's a pretty decent team for Bury.

I'd personally be tempted to play Craig Jones on the right of midfield rather than shoehorning a CM in there. Gives a bit more defensive cover as well. Possibly start Rose up top, too, but you do seem to have an embarrassment of riches in attack...

I'd always thought Mellis was a RM in that case yeah put Jones in there and hope that we sign someone else who can put in a decent cross (I've never been a huge fan of Jones but his pace does cause problems)

I'll be amazed if we line up like that - same midfield and strike partnership as last season?

23 goals fr Clarke and Hanson last season, but if we're serious about promotion then this area needs to be improved. You'll also find Stephen Davies starting, he won't be on peanuts either.

That's the impression I get and I think we will see us playing 442. I think Clarke will be disappointed not to be given a chance being last seasons top scorer. I can't see us signing a big new CM so Liddle and Knott would be realistic options.
