We’ve lined up glamour ties against Folkestone Invicta, Dover and Pompey so far. All based on the coast, maybe that’s a theme or something

Anyone playing someone interesting?

Rumours of a trip to Alicante but not sure on that myself. Would be nice mind.

Surely a little early to decide where the pre-season tour might be? Doesn’t Spain still have CV-19 restrictions? I thought you have to be double-jabbed to enter? Almost half our squad haven’t even had their 1st jab - rightly so.

Do we refuse to sign new players who haven’t had a jab? All becomes a little sticky for the sake of an overseas tour.

Someone has found out we are booked to play Sutton Common Rovers in a pre season friendly.

I presume they have nothing to do with Sutton Utd as they play at Whyteleaf...the football hotspots we can find.

I'm also presuming it will be a game with 8 or 9 trialists for us but I've been wrong about that before.

Sutton Common Rovers were based at Gander Green Lane from 2015 up until the end of this season. Owned and operated by a single family they had pretty much the lowest average attendance at step 4of the non-league pyramid last season.

Whyteleafe has an artificial pitch so that’ll be enjoyable for you

Hmm, this may well be cancelled then as the old and new owners have said they want to get away from artificial pitches as it was a factor in our horrendous injury list last season (we trained at Horsham on one).

Funnily enough my last proper game was at Whyteleafe's ground. End of season testimonial...Happy days.

Rochdale have announced their first friendly. Unsurprisingly it's one of the clubs relegated from L2.

Scunthorpe, away. 19th July.

We're off to Chester on July 9th. Nice City, respectable club, shame about the somewhat tinpot ground.

A trip to Darlington has been added on Saturday 16th June.

Scunny, Darlo and Chester - refreshingly non-tinpot. Wouldn't mind Southport, either...

just need Oldham now
Extremely unlikely, as our board and supporters trust are likely to be more in sympathy with the boycotting fans than their spiv of an "owner". Doubt we'll be playing Flyde either...

our 1st pre-season friendly has been announced - away at South Shields on 16th July. a bit of a trek for a pre-season game.... wonder if we've got one of their players lined up - they are a full time team and set up (and crowds) like a NL team.

If we keep playing like we did last season anything’s possible
I did have you down as one for the drop this season, purely based on the fact you were one of only a few clubs we beat towards the end of last season.
You did seem in freefall then and carried it on so who knows!

We’ve been in total free fall since before Moore left us, very poor decisions at board level and poor recruitment. This year is the first in 3 seasons that we aren’t going to have a complete rebuild

You should find L2 a lot easier like we did....eventually. Good luck!
