Preston have had a poor start while we find ourselves in third place. Early days though and we've lost both our away fixtures so far. We'll create plenty of chances and having scored more goals than any other team in the league will be a threat. Preston have only conceded 5 goals though and we've let in 8 so far. I think we're very much capable of coming away with all three points but as always with an away game I will happily take the one point. We'll be taking a decent following so should be a good atmosphere.

I reckon you will win aswell, you always seem to play well at deepdale and with the form your in at the minute it looks like we'd need to score a few to win which isn't going to happen.

I fancy our chances in this one, mostly because of both teams respective forms. We really need to get the 'away win' monkey off our backs as well.

The rest and time off the lads have had should be a big help for us because of the tempo and intensity we play at.

Like Craig says, we will most likely score. Even if our attacking game isn't working at times we are particularly dangerous from set pieces with Hourihane's delivery. It will however be interesting to see how we get on defensively with new lad Adam Jackson looking likely to start at the back.

As with every game away from home I will take a point!!

Now I've said all this, I'm looking forward to us getting dicked on and not scoring aha!

Think the home form thing is being overplayed a tad, it's 8 league games without a win, drawing 4 of them. It's wank but lets not exaggerate.

Hoping we can grab a win which would more than likely see us climb out of that bottom three and put us on more points than we were at this stage last season.

We're in good form and playing some great attacking football and it'd be great to get 3 points here. Despite our 2 away losses we could very easily have got something from both. Think I'd be satisfied with a first point away from home though.

That's what happens when you play utter bollocks in the first half every week and wait to concede before upping the tempo and taking the game to the other team.

We played really well for 40 minutes of that second half and didn't put the chances away as usual, then got done on the break to leave with nothing, predictable as fuck.

The annoying thing is, I know we can be decent at times, Barnsley couldn't cope with us for most of that second half but we pissed away our chances and we only ever turn up the tempo in the second half. The aim in the first half in every game is just to get into break with the score 0-0, Barnsley should have been 2 or 3 goals to the good by that point today though.

What a result that is for us.
After losing in the last min away at Huddersfield a few weeks ago we were due that bit of fortune, but my word what an outstanding goal by Adam Armstrong.

We were towing in the 2nd half but should have been a couple in front at half time really.
Unfortunate for Preston but that's football etc.

We really needed to get the 'away win' monkey off our back and thankfully we have done.
What a team we have though, so much passion and a team playing for each other, the best side I can remember for a long long time. It's a very very good time to be a Red.

2nd in the table..... Mental.

Thought Baptiste had a good debut apart from the goal which was brilliantly took. Armstrong looked lively in the little time he was on, quick and looked to be on the move constantly.
