Pfft. I preferred the half time scores where a win tomorrow would have ridiculously put us within three points of the top two.

Almost a perfect set of results if theyd of lost too but no need to be greedy. Big ask for a top 2 spot now for wednesday i still think you are capable of mustering a very very good run and claim a top 2 spot.

I'll reserve that judgment until after tomorrows game. If we can back it up with another win, I think we're back and with a bit of luck could re-join the party. Inclined to believe we're still in freefall mode, but that's just me being my usual negative self.

I said before last night that if we win the next two. So win at Cardiff and I will start to believe.

Preston are definitely in the playoff picture now, making up six points is still possible at this stage and your momentum is going the right way.

Yeah Preston are doing what I thought we were gonna do and win a couple whilst others dropped points. Unfortunately we went on a 13 match unbeaten run and didn't make up too much ground whilst Preston have got 6 points in 4 days and seriously eaten into that deficit.

They are in with a shout, which is remarkable, because I still couldn't name you a single one of their players other than Joe Garner. Does Callum Davidson still play in defence?

I can confirm the now 39yr old Callum Davidson retired in 2014, after leaving North End in 2011.

Good player.

IIRC, we signed Greg Cunningham from your lot? He starts for them most weeks.

Oh yes I remember this happening and the uproar at the time

He was always ok was Cunningham, not spectacular but filled a gap in the defence and was pretty dependable. Bit of a cockend though.

Presume you've heard of Anders Lindegaard and Paul Gallagher?

You're now on my 'c***' list.

Love Cunningham, probably our player of the season along with Paul Gallagher, loves a crunching tackle, absolutely maimed Joey Barton which went down well.

North End have scored 32 goals in 33 games this season but are challenging for the play-offs, we're absolutely hilarious

Never mind Derby winning, I'll settle for 6th I suppose.

Hull beat Sheff Wednesday and we beat Cardiff we go 3 points outside the play off zone.

Will someone just beat us so we can stop dreaming of this ridiculous idea of us actually ending up in the play offs. Cheers

Maybe. But it's not over until it's over.

Ask the Cardiff fans...... back in 2008 they were 8 points clear of us with 4 games to play, we had 3 games to play. They also had a +18 GD better of than us.

We pipped them to 6th spot on the final day of the season by scoring 1 more goal than them throughout the season.

Anything can happen.....

Paggering 'em 6-0 along the way.

Think it was Wednesday who did us a favour by bagging a late goal against em on the final day, as well.

Menckle season.

Shame we limp dicked it once we got there though.

You mean where Cardiff had to lose the last game of the season? Which they did, thanks to use and Jermaine Johnson, that was 2009 BTW.

Cha I'm more worried about Brum than you lot
