Forest away next week which is quite a big one but I don’t think realistically either of us have a chance of making the POs. Their squad’s decent but they tried to copy the Wolves model and some of the signings haven’t worked out the same way as Neves, Jota etc did for Wolves. Was always going to be a gamble.

Should sell out up there with the run we’re on but I doubt we will do.
Of course you both have a chance, especially Forest. You’ve took me a bit by surprise tbf. The four that definitely will make top six are Leeds, Sheff Utd, Norwich, and West Brom. The rest have not convinced me.

A chance perhaps but I would be very surprised if either of us were to make it, though Forest may bring in a good manager and there’s certainly players there to work with so we’ll see. I thought they would pre-season but that was mainly down to Karanka, he’s a good manager and they’ve ballsed up by messing him about.

Norwich seem to rely on late goals a lot so I can’t see them making top two. Sheffield United are a good side but they fell away last season, will they do the same again?

As for us, we need some quality up front. Eisa will go out on loan who was the “alternative” to Marriott when we failed to land him.

Only injuries will stop us from finishing top 6, if we can avoid any we have a chance at least of a top 2 spot.

I mean i definitely think we're there on merit and should go up based on performances but still a long way to go.

Comforted by the fact Norwich, WBA and Sheffield United all have to come to ER.

You should be alright, I thought you were a tad unlucky in the second half of last season. Your performance levels stayed the same you just threw away some good positions like at Barnsley and Brum away, whereas we went off the boil completely.

It's not illegal to be in public areas peering through an open fence , it's not acceptable in this country granted but it's definitely happening around Europe and South America where nobody cares about it

Anybody can get to the play offs in this division, it's still very tight. The teams all the way down to 15th -16th place are all within 10 points of the play offs

Teams blow hot and cold throughout the season usually with the exception of two or three that maintain the challenge all the way through.

I just don't trust our boardroom to keep our team together, they really are a bunch of short sighted arseholes, probably the worst in the division. If we get to February 1st without some prick upstairs selling one or two of our players for the absolutely "massive" sum of £2 million I think we'll be ok

But I wouldn't rule out 2 of our players leaving 10 minutes before the window shuts and the excuse that there was no time to replace them being wafted out to the multitudes

Wilder is working miracles considering the boardroom he has to work with

Nothing to worry about.....unless we receive a totally stupid offer way above their valuation then no one is being sold and even then a better replacement would be line up. I’ll bare my arse on the townhall steps if we were weakened during the JTW but it won’t happen.

Agree it’s still open and anything could happen yet...difficult to predict the top 2, I’d still class West Brom as the favourites but it depends how they cope without Barnes.

How can you class West Brom as favourites still?

West Brom have been linked with Dack for a few windows now, that’ll be Barnes’ replacement imo.

We need a striker still, Bobby Reid on loan is the dream. Had a few options available to us but seem to have stalled on them, I hope we’re waiting for the right deal to fall into place rather than missing our chance like we did last January.

I wouldn't include City in that. A fair chance, sure but I wouldn't be surprised to see them fall away. Injuries are a killer. Every time one or two come back, another two get injured. Defence looks super weak without the Tettey-Leitner midfield partnership protecting it and now both are missing, not just Leitner. Plus Klose is out again - grim possibility of him requiring surgery. Awful timing for all these injuries to come before/during a 7-game stretch including matches against Forest, Derby, West Brom, Sheffield United & Leeds.

It'd be somewhat typical football for City to drop out of the top 6 when Lambert inevitably takes 3 points from Carrow Road for that shower down the road.

Overly reliant on late goals are Norwich, not sure how long they can keep it up for but I’d be surprised if they were to drop out.

If we can sort our shit out in the league we've got a 'favourable' run in. I know that tends to mean fuck all in this division but we've played everybody in the top 6 home and away bar WBA at home on the last day.

I expected to be out the play off places after our recent run of games but we're hanging on in there.

They’ve been the only team we’ve played this season that have looked clearly superior to us when they dominated the 2nd half during our 2-1 defeat at Bramall Lane. The penny dropped amongst our fans that we were playing a clearly better team. Even Leeds weren’t that good when we played them.

Always a bit fearful of any teams with good individual players, so that would be the relegated teams Stoke, WBA, Swansea and I’d put Villa in that group of under performing teams. However most of these teams have fallen off the pace but it wouldn’t surprise me if any of these clubs (excluding Stoke) improve and put a run together. There’s still a long way to go.

They're absolutely skint aren't they?

Supposedly taking out a loan so they can sign someone, can't see them getting close to Dack's price tag.

I've not read that anywhere. Why's that if they've just come down from after roughly a decade in the PL?

Not sure, just stuff i've read on Twitter, supposedly a huge wage bill and dodgy Chinese owners with no money.

West Brom won’t get Dack unless they bid silly money, swear I saw that Rovers have valued him at £25m.
