The Chief Executive of National League has proposed that three clubs are promoted to the Football League, to bring it in line with the rest of the game.

At the moment it is only Conference Champion plus winner of play-offs who are promoted.

The guy said: “The National League currently has 15 clubs that are former EFL clubs. These 15 clubs, along with the other clubs in the league, are being disadvantaged by this unfair structure. They are being prevented promotion on sporting merit that they would otherwise deserve and benefit from under 3UP.”

Think your club are finally on the way back. Hopefully football league within three seasons.

We might get up to the National league, but it might be more difficult to be competitive up there.

Reckon our Play off hopes went a few weeks ago, but next season, our first with COSU in control for the duration, we may be more of a force to be reckoned with.

Obviously re-election was a joke, but I remember when it was 1 up, if a team ran away with the league hardly anyone had anything to play for from Christmas onwards. Although luckily we did as we were usually near the bottom.

Was only 1 up from each of the feeder leagues too, so if you went down from either L2/Division 3 or from the Conference you were basically fucked. Much better to have a more fluid system.
