I can't believe the Daily Mail publish his crap though? I'm sure they're happy the click bait is working, so taking money over professional journalism.

You seem to be labouring under the misapprehension that the Daily Mail has any journalistic standards!

Agreed. However, what Tyler has over most other commentators is an absolute golden voice that can get the goosebumps going during the big moments. You have to have him purely for the outcries a couple of times a season that help produce classic moments.

My favourite commentator of all time though has to be Barry Davies. An extremely intellectual man, fascinating to listen to with some simply fantastic lines during the big moments. I'm still irritated by the fact the BBC always used to choose Motson over him.

Used to love Davis yell "oh I say" whenever quality happened.
