The mighty Rams!!!
Matt Philips was being rumoured to be loaned to in January. Can't see his value rocketing up in a few months since!

Clubs will know QPR may NEED to get rid therefore they may not get hefty bids for their players. You have to remember that qpr have been paying over the odds for a few years now so likely to take a hit on any transfers.

I hope the football league bum them. I absolutely detest QPR, and I don't know why.
A shit boring football club, with shit owners, shit fans, and a shit ground. I'd kick them out of the football leage.

Can't see them getting 10m for Austin. He's good (from what I have seen) but not top 6 club good and who else is going to throw that kind of money at QPR knowing how desperate they will be to sell.

Not barred as long as they pay any fine is how I read it, QPR are looking into the legal validity of FFP apparently, tells you they know they've done a lot wrong if they're trying to get out of FFP.

So despite the fact in the past, the Football League have said there is no appeal process when it comes to financial judgements, QPR are just going to delay and delay and delay and delay until they eventually back down.

Really want the book to be thrown at them now, they know they've broken rules and are trying to do their best to weasel out of a fine.

Reading that, they're gonna get off everything. It makes a total mockery of FFP and everyone can essentially stick 2 fingers up to the FL as 'QPR did it and got away with it'!
I've got nothing against QPR but the FL are a total waste of fresh air, lilly livered wimps.

QPR seem to be despised by football fans up and down the country.

They are like the Swindon of the Championship.

They'll get a slap on the wrist, the FA are spineless and seem to be more interested in making everything racist or offensive.

So essentially, it's a free for all? We may as well all forget about FFP then?
Scandalously poor by the Football League.

The problem is, the FL will massively bite the hand that feeds it if they were to not accept QPR into the league. Maybe a bit melodramatic to say, but refusing QPR could put the 'closed shop' proposals back on the table.

I understand FFP and I understand what they've done breaches that, however a measure that comes in to try and make clubs financially secure being punished with massive fines (which get ploughed back in the game, no doubt) just seems a bit odd. There should be a football related punishment as a go to with fines following. Not vice versa.

Personally I don't really mind QPR, they're a nice antidote to people who refuse to acknowledge a teams success when they've been backed financially (see Bournemouth). A kind of footballing answer to the phrase ''knowing the cost of everything and the value of nothing'' if you will.

QPR seem to be despised by football fans up and down the country.

They are like the Swindon of the Championship.

Instead of Swindon who look most likely to be the QPR of the Championship.

This just makes even more of a mockery of the authorities dealing with it to be honest.

If they do get away with this - it'll happen a lot more, and FFP will just be taken the piss out of.

Will the Football league follow suit?

UEFA are going to ease the rules on FFP:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32784375

European football's governing body is preparing to relax the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules it introduced in 2011 to stop clubs from overspending.

In an interview with French radio station RTL , Uefa president Michel Platini said FFP was "working well" but would be "eased" this summer.

This followed a report in Le Parisien newspaper on Sunday that said "significant changes" are on the table.

Manchester City and Paris St-Germain were fined last year for breaching FFP.

The guiding principle of FFP is that clubs should stay within their means when it comes to buying and remunerating players: central to this is the so-called " "break-even requirement" .

FFP was never and will never work, clubs have too much power and the FA and UEFA are absolutely spineless.

Our Football League rules for FFP have already been relaxed from next summer onwards.

So, erm, are they not getting punished at all?

Can't say I'm that bothered that they've not been punished as I disagree with FFP anyway, but why do Forest and others get an embargo (unless you win the SkyBet thingy, that is) and QPR get off scot-free.

The FL are as consistent as FIFA are trustworthy! Absolutely rediculous that the R's can continue to spend while the likes of Forest can't when QPR have essentially stuck 2 fingers up to the Football League.
The proverbial book should have been thrown at them big time!
