Not started one of these in a while, not been much to shout about as a Brentford fan over the past 10-12 games. However, massively looking forward to this one. Been a long time since we've been able to go to Loftus Road (only been once before as was too young before then) and this has always been a tasty game given the history between the clubs.

Unfortunately, I can't see anything but a home win here. We have been dreadful of late, terrible in defence, loads of possession passing it side to side in midfield, and zero penetration or chances being created up front. Last season seems like such a long time ago now...

2-0 home win I reckon, but we'll still have a good time and the support from the Bees fans will be immense. I really hope Swift gets dropped, laziest player I've seen in a long time. Unfortunately I reckon Dean Smith will do what he's done a lot of late and go very defensive in midfield. I'd like to see:

Button

Yennaris, Dean, Barbet, Bidwell

Woods, McEachran
Canos, Judge, Vibe

Djuricin

Stick with the same team and set up as last night and I'm confident we'll do well. Mess around with a winning formula like Jimmy did at MK and we'll get another derby day spanking.

The club owe the fans a performance in a game that matters (we haven't won a London derby in over 2 years!), if this doesn't end well I can see a lot of fans turning on Jimmy.

We've had quite a good run in London derbys of late, at least against you and Fulham. Didn't fare so well against Charlton or Watford but they aren't really derbys.

I'd back you guys quite heavily to win, but if Judge scores a screamer or two we might sneak it.

No striker for us today. Something like this I'd imagine, with Judge and Canos pushing up the most

- Button -

- Yennaris - Dean - Barbet - Bidwell -

- McCormack - McEachran -

- Canos - Woods - Judge - Swift -

That was fucking shit. Smith got the tactics and the subs all wrong, not for the first time.

No point changing managers now, but we'll need to seriously consider it in the summer. There's a lot of mitigating circumstances, but the tactics and subs can only be his fault and they have been awful of late.

Did you go? Ive just got back to the country, what a result!

If you did go, was the atmosphere any good? Was it a sell out?

Yeah was there. It was pretty quiet around the ground before the game, not quite Derby material. Didn't stick around too long afterwards but was relatively tame outside.

Inside the atmosphere (from our perspective) was brilliant for the whole first half, your fans just didn't look confident, very quiet ground. Mate of mine is a QPR fan who was there; said we were the loudest you'd had all season that first half.

There was some good back and forth chanting after half time, but the 2nd goal killed it for us, we stopped getting behind the team, you guys found your voices and it was all one sided from then on.

Still a great atmosphere overall, could have been better if it was closer though

I thought the atmosphere was pretty good, obviously we got loads of stick once QPR went three up, fair play as we would have done the same in the opposite situation..
