Martinez to again pick an unbalanced side with Tim Howard also keeping his place. We lose, Martinez could easily be sacked

Billy won't sack a manager mid-season, regardless of what happens in this match. As long as Everton don't look like being relegated (and given how shit at least 4-5 other teams are this season, this won't happen) Martinez is safe until closed season at least. I think he'll get another season at least regardless, even if Everton somehow manage to avoid the drop by a point or two in 17th.

He sacked Smith mid season so has previous. Martinez is close to losing the fan base and isn't learning from his mistakes. He's not going to be here long if he doesn't change.

Personally I'd give him until the first 8 games of next season and see how we're going

Everton were 2 points above relegation at the time and had won 1 league game in their previous 13. Also, Smith hadn't finished above 13th in the previous 3 seasons since Kendall was sacked. I don't think the current Martinez situation is comparable, especially after doing so well last season.

It's comparable given that the players Martinez has at his disposal should be nowhere near this position in the league, and I think we've won 2 out of the last 15 league games or something similar. Either way, this is a huge summer for Everton as we need at least 6 players coming in regardless who the manager is

I cant see him getting sacked. Kenwright has always been pretty loyal with his managers and stuck by Smith and Moyes in similar terrible situations. He sacked Smith because once we were out of the FA Cup, he had nothing to cling on to, because we'd only won once in the League in about 3 months and were only heading down, so he had to do something. Last night to one side, we played well and battered Newcastle last week, so I just cant see it.

How long is it since QPR won at home? Looks like the kind of run we like being the team to end! We dont do well at Loftus Road either. Pick the right side though, its an easy win. And considering the likes of Osman, Gibson, Stones, Kone etc. got a nice little resting last night, they should all come back in. Likewise Lennon. The team we played against Newcastle, despite being the team that was supposedly less than full strength, worked better than our supposedly full strength one!

Howard (I dont want him to, but he will start anyway)
Coleman-Stones-Jagielka-Baines
McCarthy-Gibson
Lennon-Osman-Kone
Lukaku

Barkley played well last night, but Id have him on the bench to come on again. Given how he played last night though, if he starts in place of Osman, I wouldnt be too bad with that.

If Lukaku doesnt ask for a move i'll show my arse in Woolies window

The team is awfull, only Mcarthy and Stones along with Romelu could play at a higher lever for me

the rest are average gash and i include Baines and Coleman
