Guaranteed defeat here sadly. 3-0 home win.
Our players will be knackered physically and mentally.

Don't really care about this one now, I said I'd have rather won this than United yesterday but there's no way it will be anywhere near as good as that. Should still be a great day in London though, couple of days before christmas away day.

A sold out away end (same as Villa already) should ensure a decent atmosphere, If QPR play as they did for 89 minutes against Brentford, I can see us winning but you just know Freeman is gonna have a blinder.
1-3. Freeman - Flint, Patto, Reid.

Play like we did last night in every game for the rest of the season (I'm well aware we won't) then we will be going up comfortably..

Difficult to predict this one, I'm sure most of the lads will be a bit sore today as they put in one hell of a shift last night.. suspect a few will be rested.. perhaps brownhill, pato and maybe even Reid..

0-2 city

Freeman haha don't worry about that floppy cock.
What a silly fuck he looks for joining shitty QPR and their 12k fans.

Less than 72 hours after all the madness and we are go again! This does have an after the lord mayors show kind of vibe about it and I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose but our lads are relentless. A win would be our biggest result of the season so far (in the league anyway!) because it would show that we can stay consistant under such a heavy schedule. I think it might be 0-0.

I'd probably take a point right now tbh, just cos we'll be emotionally fatigued as much as anything and they've beaten some good sides at home this season.

But I hope we win and Hollowhead's sacked for Christmas

4 changes, sensible selection. Excited for Kelly get a chance. Interesting to see Leko ahead of Eliasson

Eliasson for Leko would be better imo, but can't begrudge Kelly a start, he's a real talent.
Magnusson was really good on Wednesday, but he had a tough time against Rashford.

And wins the pen!

Sounded vastly improved after the break. After running ourselves into the ground Wednesday, this team never gives in. Probably should've won it

Dog shit in first half, but 2nd half we did enough to win imo.. hit the post and Woodrow skied it from 6 yards just before we eventually scored..

Shows the character and mentality of the team that we didn't want the point and we seemed to be the only side looking for the winner..

This.
How we didn't win is beyond me! Yes, they had the better of the first half and it did have the feel of 'after the lord mayors show', we were poor by our standards but we absolutely ripped them to pieces in the 2nd half and should have won comfortably. Fair play to Smithies though, he saved them a point multiple times and Frankie was writing his Xmas cards in the 2nd half as he had nothing at all to do.
Very tired looking first half and very good in the second, should have won and as for Cauley's miss? Oh dear! :eyes:
We go again on boxing day but we are really down to the bare bones now which is very worrying IMHO.
Oh yeah, Leko can do one back to West Brom and Lloyd Kelly is not ready for this level yet.
