Quarter-Finals: France v Iceland, 3rd July, 8pm

Well France found their next gear up in that game, they had the quality going forward to really punish them unlike England and Portugal. Game over after 20 minutes and 4 up at half time, I hope the England players were watching that and learning. Iceland can be proud of themselves this tournament they've done remarkably well for such a small nation, wether they will ever repeat it remains to be seen. France are yet to be properly tested though and it'll be interesting to see how they cope facing the Germans, we all know what happened when they last faced a home nation in the semi finals!

That's almost as sad as a sweaty keeping count.

It was a guess, the count was probably more; they can't help themselves.

France technical level can't be compared to Iceland's but it was really nice to see them playing with strenght and dignity until the end. French public on their home and Iceland's as well were a show with all the support. I've been missing something on France's football but as far they get also as stronger and being at their home let them really close of this title.

And Iceland was simply the team of this Euro.
