The game gradually improved and the penalty shoot-out was enjoyable, I'd say Germany edged it on the whole.

I'd like to see the Germans go the whole way, and I can easily see them defeating France (providing they beat Iceland...).

Unlucky Italy, although Zaza & Pelle's pens were woeful. Think Italy may have won if De Rossi, Veratti & Marchisio were available, but to be fair Parolo, Sturari and Giacherini didn't play too badly

I was at this one, just on the tram away from the stadium now. Conte is a genius but ultimately he couldn't get much attaching threat out of the players. Germany were better man for man but looked devoid of ideas too except for the goal.

The penalties were insane. We were top tier behind the goal where the penalties happened. So noisy, unbelievable pressure and proved even the Germans can crack. Italy bottled it even more though and Zaza's kick is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Gutted for Italy but Germany look very strong. I know France, Portugal, Wales and Iceland are still in it too but it's Germany's to lose from what I've seen so far.

Two teams if win would be very deserved. Not counting the underdogs Wales and Iceland, Germany and Italy were my favorite to win the cup by the good playing they've showed. I think Germany could've show a bit more of good technique when playing but Italy was so passionated and there came their strong to play head to head. Also I still couldn't agree with some Low choices to team rotation this time but nothing that brought big problems to them. At prorogation time Italy seemed more tired but didn't give up anyway. And at peenalties both had flaws and excellences that in my vision can't measure a better one. So very good from both and congrats to Germany!

The weakest is very much open to debate but the strongest is no contest, the Welsh have done the UK proud and aren't a bunch of failures unlike some other high paid divas that were there.
