I'd say a strong championship side. 1 world class player and 2 very good prem players. The spine of the side are your best players Williams,Ramsey,bale. That's why your doing well other than them 3 your team on paper is garbage but on paper means fuck all you've got the spirit and the togetherness and the passion required. Which of their first choice players are going to play in the Championship next season? Gunter and maybe Robson-Kanu, the rest are in the Premier League (plus Bale).

Want to give a nod of recognition to the role played by Toshack & Flynn to get us here. They took over an aging team where the good players were either injury prone or liable to mysteriously pull out of games. The majority of the starting 11 was given their debuts by Toshack, he blooded the likes of Ramsey, Bale, Williams, Allen. Some of the results were bad but there was always a bigger picture, didn't quite envisage the picture to be quite on the level of a semi-final mind.

Speedo came in and whilst it's obvious to look at the performances, his work on implementing science into the backroom staff was the most important thing he did during his tenure and it's changed the culture of Welsh football from top to bottom. Guys like Ryland Morgan & Ian Mitchell are the very best in their trade. The coaching set up is also top grade. Osian Roberts has a legitimate argument for being considered one of the best coaches in the world. His FAW uefa pro course is heralded as being world class by those in the game, lots of non-welsh guys choose to do their badges in Wales due to the level of the teaching. Paul Trollope has a reputation for being a very good young coach too.

If you were to rate us on backroom set up then it's of CL standard. If anything it's England who have the championship outfit tag. Woy jogging on his tippy toes around the training pitch with a whistle in his mouth, Gary Neville having bantz with the United lads & Raymond Lewington baby sitting little Raheem trying to teach him football. I understand the entire set-up at England was due to change after the Euro's anyway, they'll probably look to what Wales have done when making changes.

I doubt Wales are doing anything unique. England will change how they do things behind the scenes, they have to. But it's unlikely to be as a result of looking at what Wales do that's different.
