Cellino fully bought out

After completing his takeover of Leeds United, chairman Andrea Radrizzani has paid tribute to Massimo Cellino.

2 things about Cellino, 1 bad 1 good

the bad........ constantly embarrassing himself on sky sports, not doing what he promised from the start (elland road buy back) sacking managers then replacing them with absolute trash like Hockaday, his numerous bans and court cases

the good ....... he's sorted massive debts out, stabilised the club and left us in a far better position than GFH did

He's a convicted criminal and a fraud. I'm glad he's gone.

Far too trigger happy with managers. I thought after Bates and GFH that it was the beginning of something decent at Leeds but he told a pack of lies WRT buying back Elland Road etc.

As previously mentioned, the only good thing he did was take on some of our debts and began to stabilise us financially.

Daft stuff like the pie tax, segregating the south stand, constant legal farces and stupid interviews/outbursts quickly undid what good work he did.

Our string of bad owners makes me sceptical with Radrizzani, he SEEMS much more level headed and sensible but this is Leeds, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Madness, clearly not seen eye to eye with the new chairman on things. Can see another circus coming at Leeds, Monk will get himself a decent job pretty quickly.

By the sounds of the initial reactions from the local journos, Monk wanted a longer deal than the 1 year that was initially being offered.

Yet again we go into the close season needing a top-down re-build. All we can hope for is a decent manager ASAP, hold onto our better loan players (e.g. Bartley) plus hope Radrizzani can find investors to strengthen midfield/attack. That's all !
Will be very interesting to see how soon Monk re-emerges, and where.
