You're right, he is clearly a reformed character because he scored a goal at the weekend.Everyone has a past.

Basket case Ranger seems to have a little more 'past' than most people......and apparently doesn't seem too shy to keep bringing it to the present.Everyone has a past.
Why are you being a dick? I didn't even say that but his attitude since being here suggests he has changed. You're right, he is clearly a reformed character because he scored a goal at the weekend.

What a goal he scored yesterday the right way to come back at his critics. Love him
The alleged offence took place in Feb 2015 so as I said before this is more his past catching up with him rather than 'playing up' nowHis charge sheet would suggest he hasn't.
I appreciate that and I do see your point. The alleged offence took place in Feb 2015 so as I said before this is more his past catching up with him rather than 'playing up' now
If found guilty I would have no problem with him playing for us once he has served his punishment whatever it may be. If the alleged offence took place whilst he was here with us my view would be different.I appreciate that and I do see your point.
If he were to be found guilty of defrauding a vulnerable woman of a couple of thousand pounds what would be your attitude though, would you still be happy for him to be representing your club every week.
Not a dig, just a genuine question.
Sorry mate, I just don't get that at all.If found guilty I would have no problem with him playing for us once he has served his punishment whatever it may be. If the alleged offence took place whilst he was here with us my view would be different.
He's an excellent player no one can deny that but he always seems to slip up either on or off the football pitch. No one wants to see a player like that imo. lets hope this latest scandal will be a load of rubbish.
Thanks for your insightful opinion RobieThe chap has been given numerous opportunities to clean up his act and has decided not to.
His critics are not concerned with how good at football he is.
Keep kidding yourself with the use of 'alleged' all you like; your club have employed an utter scumbag and it is a matter of when not if he gets banged up, again.
I'd imagine there are Plymouth fans who were happy to take McCormick backSorry mate, I just don't get that at all.
If he has committed a pretty despicable crime then how does it matter when or where?
If he did it (and it is IF at the moment) then it shouldn't really matter if it were 22 months ago or 22 minutes ago.
I am sure you are right.I'd imagine there are Plymouth fans who were happy to take McCormick back
The club obviously knew it was a risk taking him on but bought into the fact he said he had turned it around. He has done so well since being here on and off the field that we've given him a 3.5 year deal 4 months into the season so clearly now everyone at the club feels he has changed. This took place nearly 2 years ago before we had him when he was in his words 'a dark place'. If he is guilty then the courts will make him serve his punishment and rightfully so but from what we've seen we have a very talented player who wants to work hard and is keeping his nose clean a very different guy to the one of two years ago.I am sure you are right.
Is the moral standard that you and your club are aiming for then?
Fair enough. The club obviously knew it was a risk taking him on but bought into the fact he said he had turned it around. Apart from this season..Not even close to being the same thing.
McCormick was an idiot and made a horrendous mistake who served his time and has since devoted himself to helping charities, doesn't make what he did right but certainly shows he's a normal bloke who made a mistake, is extremely remorseful and is now doing all he can to make amends.
Ranger on the other hand is a total piece of shit human being and a repeat offender who has been arrested/charged for nearly every conceivable crime, shows absolutely no remorse or any signs of changing.
I hate seeing wasted talent, so many kids grow up wanting to play this game and can't, yet he is tossing it all away at every opportunity. Would love to see him turn his life around and prove people wrong, he just hasn't got the capabilities to do it as evidenced by his celebration at the weekend.
Apart from this season..
He won't be sentenced until April though, so the vile piece of shit can carry on playing for your club.
