Next week, for our game against Accrington Stanley, Coventry have given away thousands of tickets to local schools.
The club have gone around to all the schools in Coventry and have offered each family free tickets as long as they sign up with the club.
For the first time in 10 years, CCFC under SISU, have finally done something to get fans onside. 14,000 tickets have been given to families who may not have been to watch Coventry play before. It is a brilliant way of getting kids supporting their local side.
General ticket sales are going well and I would not be surprised if the crowd is pushing 30,000 plus, which according to our local paper will beat Pompey's 18,000 record crowd. However, I did read somewhere that their was a crowd of 38,000 in the 4th tier about 40 years ago.
