Impressive that despite our rise through the leagues, we continue to post profits year on year. If we manage to survive again, we'll need a lot more than this to upgrade the ground to all seated. We'll need upwards of £20 million for a new main stand. Just putting seats in the existing stands would reduce our capacity from 7000 to probably 4500, so that's not enough. Tough balancing act - and risky.

Interesting how gate receipts mean so little. Only £1.5 million in gate receipts from an £11.5 million turnover. Commercial income nearly £10 million. (large chunk of that TV money obviously)

Doing things the right way, good to see, every chance of survival again too.

Glad for Burton, definitely an inspiration for us smaller clubs that it can be done without bankrupting yourself.

Good luck this season

While it's very impressive and admirable, 1.3m profit isn't much in the day and age where clubs like Wolves, Boro and Villa are all spending 50 odd million per year to get promoted from the same league.

Not saying it's right what we are doing for the record, and is of course controversial. It just shows the enormity of your achievement that you can survive in this league when clubs around you spend (and waste) such vast sums.

You don't get chants of "Your ground's too big for you!" either, which is nice.

Slow steady progression, building the club on and off the field. Best way to run a club.

FFP was meant to be a deterrent but it looks like clubs cant be arsed following it, and rightly so, still waiting on QPRs punishment afterall

Nothing against QPR but it will send a good message if they get absolutely pummeled by fines here.

£58m should suffice.

These rules were in place for what, 1 season? Then changed them because they were daft. Under the current rules, I wonder if we would have been okay.

58 million? fuck me.
