After that late equaliser for Fleetwood is it in their hands with 2 games to play ?

Big ask for them to get anything against Sheff Wed, whilst Horwich Wanderers don't seem to have got the memo that mid-table teams normally start thinking about the beach at this point of the season.

This has got to be the lowest points tally to stay in League One for a good number of years.

Morecambe in poll position to stay up despite letting in 87 goals FFS!

Oxford survived on 45 points back in 1999/2000 - since then and most other seasons since 1995/96 when 4 teams have gone down, clubs have needed 47-51 points to survive. To think Morcambe could do it on 42 or Fleetwood on 40 shows how bad its been at the bottom of League One this season.

To be honest, I know I only see two games a season from the relegated sides, but none of them struck me as truly shite - I remember the seasons when we’ve gone down from L1 and been genuinely diabolical, the quality wasn’t there, scoring goals was a foreign concept, and heads would drop after the first goal conceded.

Crewe were the worst of the sides (and I guess the table indicates that too) but for the others, they really weren’t that far from lower mid-table averageness.

I think the points difference between what it takes to stay up is just because the top sides have been more consistent than usual - and notice I said “consistent”, I don’t necessarily mean “better”.

I haven’t seen any side where I’ve thought, well fair play, you blew us off the pitch, although Wigan were the best by a distance.

Well I reckon Bolton will beat Fleetwood. So a draw will do for Gillingham. I wouldn't like to call it to be honest. Morecambe will be ok. We might even win against Accrington on Saturday. Our last league win was against them back on December 7th.
