If you have a few minutes in the off season please can you fill in a survey that will be important in gaining support for our new stadium.

How do Oxford United’s proposals for the land known as ‘the Triangle’ impact the communities of Oxfordshire?

This survey offers you the opportunity to give your views on the response of Oxford United Football Club (OUFC) to the seven key strategic priorities set out by the council for the use of the land known as 'the Triangle'. We are also holding a small number of drop-in

Responses from non OUFC supporters will likely carry more weight and particularly if you will travel to the ground on public transport because of the move.
The new ground will be right next to Oxford Parkway railway station and so make your journeys much easier whereas many rely on the car to get to the Kassam.

Our current ground is not owned by us and holding us back. Our lease runs out in 2026 and we do not have any right to renew the tenancy.

Yeah most likely… it is due to be surrounded by a housing estate on the fields to the south and will make more money for kassam when sold for housing.

• A modern, well-designed ground which will help to support a proper atmosphere, rather than the soulless, three-side ground we have now.
• Safe standing built in to the design.

If it’s easier to get to from the city centre than the Kassam am all in favour of it.

From central Oxford, I’m not sure but Oxford Parkway is a mainline train station operated by Chiltern Railways. It is also a park and ride location so there will be plenty of options to access the stadium…. It will definitely be much easier than the kassam.

Busses to the stadium could travel from Oxford city centre along two main roads to approach the stadium.

There are plenty of buses as well as it has 2 park & ride car parks a 10 minute walk away.

Also, as well as, or in place of housing, Kassam may want to build facilities for Biomedical companies as he has already applied for planning permission for a 5 storey lab building which he can then rent out. This would replace the existing Bingo Hall.
