Get your facts right, it wasn’t about playing kids it was about firstly your Club not having the respect to inform my club you wouldn’t be playing the fixture but posting it on social media for us to find out. Secondly if I were a Bury fan I’d be fuming given you started the season knowing you couldn’t fulfil your fixtures with the players you started with.
In respect to being shot down I’d say yes given how much complaining you are doing oh and no I’m not in anyway an ex chairman although I am a shareholder even if it is an insignificant one

Looking at your squad I struggle to see how you will too strong for the likes of us. Players like Sarcevic won’t get you towards the top of league 1. Infact looking at it I’d say you need abit more quality to just insure your not in a relegation fight. Mid table would be the highest I see this Bolton squad getting. Strikers are much more clinical up here, the gap between the two leagues I think is abit bigger than people think. I’m expecting a strong league next year, I’d be shocked if we finish as high as we did last season in truth.

Agree with you about Sarce. When we got promoted from League 2 he was rightly player of the year. But the season before in League 1 he looked out of place. Yes, he may have learnt a lot from that year and be better, but I am not sure he is at the level Mais seems to think Bolton will be at next year.

Yes I know, and my comment about him was based on that experience. As I say he may have learnt a lot and be okay, but he was not mid league 1 standard when we had him.

In respect to Bury it has little to do with finding a buyer, Bury could not start the season as they couldn’t guarantee to fulfill their fixtures, the behaviour of Bolton before being bought out was exactly the same, you shouldn’t have been allowed to start the season until you found a buyer, by the way I blame the EFL for that and yes you are complaining when someone challenges you and finds your opinions wanting

You neither got relegated or reached the play offs.....so yes it was a meaningless fixture.
The EFL allowed a person who was Banned as a Director to take over the club.
Why should we not have been allowed to start the season????
Numerous clubs including YOURS Have been in administration and carried on playing.
Bury could not find a buyer...........Bolton had several interested parties and assets
Please get some of the facts correct before trying to educate me.

No it does not - that is reductionism. Being excellent in league 2 does not automatically equate to being good in league 1. And as I said for us league 1 was a step too far. He might make it next year, but I have my doubts. Anyway, we’ll see.

There’s definitely a player in there somewhere with elbouzedi. It’s his decision making that’s the issue. Iron that out and he has the pace/dribbling ability to be a really good player.

Yeah we've found that. He's been very good in the Cup games against L2 sides this season where he can get up to full speed and take people on but he just doesn't quite have that quality or cuteness in and around the area for this level like others in the squad have.
