South America left us behind on this genre years (decades?) ago - but it's still playing in the bars, restaurants and radio stations of Argentina - and I love it..

One of my favourite bands Sick Puppies just released their new album Fury and it is such a relief. They firstly started to go the route of many rock bands and trended towards the more poppy and mainstream sound with their last album Connect in 2013. One year later they lost their frontman and signer Shimon Moore. It wasn't looking good for them, but holy shit, I actually think they sound better with their new lead singer. Couple his voice, the older sound returning and Emma Anzai being incredible and you have a band really returning to form from a point where it didn't look good whatsoever for them.

The bassist Emma Anzai also does a bit more singing too in the new album and it sounds fantastic. I can't get enough of this song in particular.

I'm basically stuck in the 70's and part of the 80's for my preferences of Rock Music although I do enjoy and appreciate some of the newer stuff that I hear...one example being...
